Replacement OEM badges arrived tonight - The OEM badges are technically "one time use only." Because the car is being 100% wrapped in PPF, the "best/correct" way to replace the removed factory badges is to buy/install new replacements.
Required? Absolutely not. Unnecessary? Absolutely.
This car has been around for ~3 weeks and is progressing at an insane pace - You folks shouldn't be surprised at this point
Rear hatch PPF installation SOP: Factory badges get removed > Factory spoiler is removed > PPF film gets applied to entire hatch > aftermarket spoiler installed on top of PPF film > New OEM badges applied on top of PPF film... old OEM badges go on/in the toolbox
Not cheap - But, I want the car as close to perfect as possible.
OEM p/n:
Black Rings for B9.5 RS5: 8W8-853-742-A-T94
Black RS5 tailgate for B9.5 RS5: 8W6 -853-740-T94
As previously mentioned - Car goes back to PPF on 5/2 to have the retro-fitted combo of OEM/aftermarket parts to re-create the carbon optics option. Also doing a final "once-over" of the car to make sure the PPF wrap is as good as it can be. Low profile headrests made their way from Latvia to Belgium - I'll probably have those by the end of the week, too (thanks Ben/Mops@NemesisAutosport)

Stay tuned! Lots more stuff going on, folks!
