I know the 6/7/8 community has had the ability to unlock these functions for some time on vehicles that came with the required hardware.

Good news for us B9.5 folks - Sam (the guy who does the software coding remotely) has cracked the B9.5 chassis cars to enable these functions on cars with the required hardware.

Link to the cable - https://redirect.viglink.com/?format...egname%3D11050

It needs to be the 5054A tool (which is currently backordered if you want an OEM one). 5054A has since been superseded to VAS6154A. The VAS6154A does not work (it's apparently unstable?) The OEM one is also $1300 + ODIS software - The link I provided to the Ebay cable works just fine for this process.

You'll also need a Windows 10+ laptop with an available USB A port, and have TeamViewer installed so that Sam can remote in to your machine/vehicle. You'll also need internet access while plugged into the car (obviously).

Optional: I had the car on my CTEK batter maintainer while we were going through the programming/flash protocols. Not necessary, but I've personally witnessed some folks brick various modules if they run low on power during a re-programming. Cheap piece of mind and I have internet access in my garage.

I had a few things enabled:
Acceleration timers
Blue hue for laser light - Apparently the US has a white laser, the only coding for RoW is a color hue change (cannot confirm this)
Matrix functionality enabled
Orange stand-lights in headlights "turned off"

Animation of unlock "light show" and illumination of the blue light

Unfortunately, I don't have video of the lights in action on the road at night. I did learn that matrix also functions/relies on GPS information (it doesn't work unless you're going over 30mph and in an area where use of matrix functionality provides benefit). I can report that the performance increase is VERY obvious over the standard auto-high beams.

Overall, worth it if you've got some cash burning a hole in your pocket, and/or out of other mods to do (or both).
