3.0l Returnless Vs Return Fuel System

So I have an engine from an '04 A4 that I'm swapping in to my 2002 A4 because my engine blew up. The fuel rail from the new engine has only one line to connect to the fuel supply whereas mine has two and what appears to be a pressure regulator. There is a vacuum line coming off the regulator that I don't know where it goes because all my vacuum lines rotted out pretty bad.

Anyway, I'm wondering whether I should use the Returnless system or not, and I need to know where this vacuum line connects into the system. Any help would be appreciated, will post pictures if I can figure out how.

I would keep the 2 line fuel rail as the fuel filter in your car (located beneath the car near rear passenger seat) is specific to that fuel rail.

Here’s some links that may be helpful.
