AWD Acoustic measure -wiring logic- increase traction

    whats up everyone:

I read some where here that this change gives you more AWD or permanent AWD, can anyone confirm?

If so I assume this is great at the drag strip but how about for roll racing? Ive noticed a slower 60-130 since doing this...trying to survey some opinions or experiences if anyone has any to share thanks

Didn’t notice any measurable difference. Placebo effect possibly. Definitely not full time awd or anything like it. Do back to back draggy runs and see what you think.

*I think* that particular change (which I have done as well) is about faster engagement of the rear. Should have an effect from a stop or low speed.

I also gave this a try and noticed the car was slower on a roll so I put it back to OEM.

By any chance have you timed 60-130 for the "ABS (03) - Adaptation - Security Access: 20103 - Expanded Electronic Differential Lock - Strong" mod? I'm probably going to set this back to stock also as I don't see it helping when going in a straight line.

I noticed a good difference from a stop, are you saying it engages awd sooner? thanks

I think on the TTRS its set to strong by default, so I have no input there. The 60-130 sure did take a notable hit however...these motors are super consistent and I was hitting 9.1-9.0 repeatedly...since the change 9.5-9.6 and the you can feel it too. Tonight will do more testing and but its looking like its going back to stock setting

I've just changed my setting back to stock on my TTRS and immediately car feels smoother & less clunk when moving off from a standstill, I'll compare draggy numbers in the next week or so

did a few to start out with out the setting and hit the usual 9.0, 9.1, 9.1, adjusted the setting back to "increase traction" and saw 9.3, 9.3, 9.4, for me this setting will stay on standard

You said you noticed "a good difference from a stop". Sounds like good for 0-60 but bad for 60-130? Any sense of the 0-60 benefit? Seems like a choice between reaction at launch due to more rear engagement vs rolling speed benefit due to less or no rear engagement when not needed at high speed.
