Hello all, I’ve been away for a bit, so I’m coming back with a pretty big issue to kick off my return! First a quick little background. 2013 Audi A4 with upgraded Turbo (K04)I haven’t had a ton of issues lately. But a few days ago I was getting on it, and all of a sudden my car started acting as if it was running out of fuel or something. So I pulled over and ended up needing to get it towed home. It would run, but had pretty much no power and couldn’t even reverse without stalling out. The only codes I was getting was a low fuel light ( had 1/4 tank) and O2 sensor bank 1 sensor 1. I’ve since replaced said O2 sensor, and still get the error. I also was having a fuel issue after I started to trouble shoot my issue.

Next thing I replaced was fuel filter, as I figured maybe it was clogged or something along that line. When I pulled the filter it wasn’t even attached to the pump anymore, so hopefully that was a part of the issue. Replaced it and I had fuel going to the engine again. It still runs like hell, so I decided to pull the plugs and take another look. Oh lawd did I discover an issue at that point. I’ve actually never seen spark plugs in such bad shape, and I’m trying to figure out what may be the cause of such catastrophic spark plug failure. Mind you these plugs and packs were replaced like 300 miles ago. IMG_6084.JPGIMG_6081.jpgImage1648456711.043807.jpgImage1648456727.369756.jpg

In the last few months the only thing I’ve done is replace valve cover gasket, injectors, spark plugs, coil packs, water pump, vacuum pump. Can’t really think of anything else off the top of my head.

Next thing I’m gonna check is maybe the catalytic converter got hot over the last couple years and finally ran into an issue, doubtful but would explain the build of heat in the engine I suppose. I’ll probably check compression as well. Just looking for another perspective I guess. Them plugs though! Anything you want to know, just ask.
