Hello all this is my first thread here. I’ve been having quite a bad problem with my 2000 Audi A6, when put in Acc mode intermittently all the gears will light up (like it’s in limp mode) and I can crank it until I can kill the battery. But then you will hop in put it in Acc mode and the EPC light will come on and it will start in under 3 cranks (see pictures). It happens intermittently but is progressing and getting worse. When it’s in limp mode you can freely move the gear shifter without pressing the brake (see pictures). When it wants to start that doesn’t happen, I got it with scanned with a Vag com and had P1603 P0605 P1850 I also had P0322 for the Crank position sensor. Replaced that and that code went away, I have checked all engine management fuses I have checked the TCM under the floorboards for moisture or damage in general, I have inspected all pins on the TCM all wires leading into the TCM. And Changed the crank position sensor. I’ve taken a look at my main fuse box on the drivers side inside my engine bay and it looks fine. I’m stumped and my mechanic says it “probably” something to do with the TCM not communicating properly with my ECU.
Sorry for the long post but I’ve been getting more confused and mad at this piece of German engineering.
Can’t figure out pics will tmrw thank you
