I’ll get to the point. Most of the threads on this are older than 2016. Photos hosted on sites that have closed or flushed the photos away.
I have an ABZ v8 with the full engine loom, the engine bay fuse panel to the Lego block looking connectors and the car side of the connectors severed from the car along with the plug that goes to the ecu from the car.
I have the diagrams but they don’t make 100% sense to me as it’s different from every other ecu. Bosch J220.
I also have not started the motor as the old oil needs draining and possibly the sump.
But I have soldered jumpers to
Black plug with the red wire, 1 brown wire, and black with green stripe. This harness was for a 98 D2 a8 automatic US version and shouldnt have an immobilizer.
Is this all I need to fire up the motor?
There’s still a big brown wire not hooked up. I think however that it goes to the TCU which is not present or being used.
I know this has been answered but the thread is so old I can’t seem to dig up the photos for it.
