Is anybody using the 4F0-051-510-AC cable just charge via magsafe? I have a retrofitted B8.5 3G+ MMI with bluetooth audio and don't need the direct connect for audio purposes. Only interested in charging. I currently use a Rennline Mount with a cable running behind the MMI / climate controls to a slim charger in the cigar lighter port. I'm using a iPhone 13 Pro Max and it charges pretty fast. I'd rather fish to the glove box to the OEM AMI cable because it would look cleaner, but worry that charging may be slow because these connectors are a bit dated.
