lowering spring and strut combo Q?

looking to lower and stiffen up the suspension on my 1998 A8. Has anyone found the best combo for this yet? H&R or Eibach or another ?

H&R coilovers have reportedly been a little too stiff, but I dont know I dont have them. I have the Bilstein-Eibach combo on my A8L and I love it. However, I would assume that the S8 suspension is equal to, if not better than the bil/Eib combo. just my $0.02

both are readily availible, finding the right price is key. I think you told me about the pig roast before, but I beleive it was deleted. Why dont you check out the Pittsburgh people thread in the northeast regional forum? We have an interesting and helpful group. one of our crew just installed a lift in their garage.

Are you intending to install yourself or are you going to use a local shop, because theres a fantastic shop on 68.
