Hey everyone!

I am planning to retrofit webasto preheating system on my A6 C7 2012 180kw 3.0tdi.
I accidentally bought webasto heater with original code 4M0.265.105.E, it is originally from 2016 Q7.
Only visual difference I noticed is that waterpump connector has 3 wires instead of 2 wires.
But question is, do they communicate with the car same way? Can Q7 4m webasto unit communicate with A6 C7?
Maybe I have to do adaption differently?
