Can someone please answer an RSNav question?

Hello, I just recently installed the RSNav S4 into a 2016 Q5 with the B&O sound system. I had previously fiddled with the settings to get the sound where I liked it. Here is my question. With the installation of the S4, with my iPhone connected and using CarPlay through the RSNav, is the sound output being controlled only by the sound settings in the RSNav (equalizer) or are my B&O settings I had previously set controlling the sound? Sorry if this question is super basic, but I'm old. Thanks in advance.

good question, I know if you change the settings in the rsnav, it affects the sound
try to change the settings in the MMI and see if it does something to the sound ?

The RSNAV sends any audio output to the R199 external audio input (AMI or AUX). At that point, it's just another stereo input being handled like all other inputs in the Audi sound system. (ie, your settings such as focus and tone and such are specific to the AMI input, vs the CD input, vs the radio input).
