My decision is to delete - but my questions are the following:
1. When you delete the muffler - do you straight pipe it to the diffuser tips?
2. Is there any concern with the straight pipe melting the rear diffuser?
3. any pictures of final set ups?
I ask because I love the lines of the OEM rear diffuser with the hex light tips - clean lines.
hopefully my ask makes sense. - any help/insights - thank you so much in advance.
Not sure what you have for a car... 3.0T or 4.0T
Either way, hope this helps
1) Most cut before the rear muffler and straight-pipe, with tips at the diffuser
2) Zero concern - heat shielding is already in place where the hotter areas are; rear diffuser is not one of those areas, since in stock form, there is the same amount of heat
3)

Most people remove the front resonators and middle suitcase, adding an X or H pipe. To me, removing the front resonators adds this high pitch raspy noise, that I am not a fan of - after all, the purpose of the resonators is to do exactly that... remove the high frequency noises.
