    Less than a year ago, your life's mission was to discredit anyone with ported blower (especially hand ports). Now all of a sudden you think you are some expert?

    Like usual you missed the point of everything I’ve ever said.

    My whole point was not needing a ported blower to break into the 10’s and just being fast without one, which I was. Not that they aren’t beneficial….

    The problem is never with what I say. It’s your inability to see the nuance of it and that just comes with the IQ of the average owner dropping as the price of the car gets lower

    And as far as bodied goes,

    He’s just another example of it.

    Supercharger Porting Q&A and Resource Thread

    And quite frankly, I think this alone makes me pretty well informed about what makes a ported blower good enough.

    But hey, what do I know. I only have the 4th fastest S4 on Dragy leaderboard and I only run a 3.2 ratio….. Literally everyone in front of me is running a 3.4 ratio, a light weight battery and Kirkey seats that weighs 10 pounds. They’re pushing their blower, fueling and engine way harder and making their cars over a 100 pounds lighter in order to be faster than me. But what do I know about it?

    I plan on running Fresh.S4’s ported blower (helping support a local enthusiast). His ports look very thorough and well executed. I’ll happily post any data you guys are looking for.

    There’s not many of us left in this B8 community so let’s try to build each other faster cars rather than tear each other apart. We are all looking for that extra edge so let’s work together. Happy Sunday dudes!

    Sorry didn't mean to bring up different ports. Just thought I'd say something about everyone faster was lighter, as my a6 weight probably good 200lbs more than your s4. BTW I still do actively port, however only for locals. I do respect those that do good port jobs, it's a ton of work and like you've mentioned, a lot of halfway ports get done these days, unfortunately they charge more than it's worth

    But every S4 in front of me on leaderboard IS lighter and IS running a higher ratio. That’s just a fact. I never even mentioned A6’s.

    The 1-3 cars aren’t even 3.0T’s on leaderboard so the #1 3.0T spot starts at 4 which is Matty. Matty, Shawn and Marshall are pushing their cars way harder and are much lighter. These are facts. So yes, I think I’m qualified to talk about what gains make a port good.
