    Clicking noise under load

How's it going, guys. So as the title says, I have a clicking noise on hard acceleration, usually when the turbo is spooling up.

I suspect the alternator pulley. But my question is, are the alternators for the 1.6 n/a engine and the 1.8t engines the same? This car has a second hand alternator in it, and it has 1.6 a4 written on it with tippex.

The sticker on the alternator is gone, so I can't even compare part numbers.

    Any help greatly appreciated.
