    OBDEleven/Long Code to deactivate Kick-To-Open?

Any way to do this? I have squirrels who manage to open my rear hatch in the middle of the night and it’s driving me crazy - lol.

    Please and thanks!

How close are your keys to the car? They’d have to be within I believe 3’ for that to happen.

More like 10-15 feet. I wonder if that distance has been coded….good point!

Did you do any prior coding in regard to the keyfob range?

Not me but the previous owner changed quite a bit for sure (I’ve been reworking or undoing a good bit of it as I discover it).

Wonder if the prior owner coded for unlock upon approach? I’ll try to find the coding this morning.

Sounds like that has been coded, unless that is standard for the Prestige trim. My wife has premium plus and I coded that for her. Her keys are within 15’ and never had what experience happen.

That definitely doesn’t seem right. I have to have the key in the pocket for the kick to open to work

Well - the key fob range limiter was not on so I started with reversing that setting to limit range. Hopefully this resolves the issue. If not I’ll dig deeper….

I'd also love to be able to code this feature "off" when I have hitch mounted bike rack on. Have had a couple of close calls where it starts to open with bikes in the way.

Ya - seems relatively silly this isn’t in the GUI/car settings to be honest. Seems like a personal preference that should be user adjustable.

The thing never works when I need it to - and opens on its own when I don’t. Lol. (Yes I’ve watched the videos - apparently my legs aren’t long enough to dance behind the bumper with my arms full of groceries and stroller).
