Sorry I’ve been off for a minute, but life and college are kicking my butt.
The car stayed home when I moved away for college, I took it for the first drive around the block 2 days before I left. I went to do a longer drive and one of my charge/recirc pipes fell into my fan clutch and burnt it up.
Doing the timing job was a big step, I learned a lot about how the motor works and the most efficient way to do things, getting to know the 2.7t better.
I uncovered plenty of wiring issues not from the swap but just harness age and it cracking and wearing out. If anyone knows where I can get a full complete new wiring harness for the motor please let me know, as I want to make the car dialed in.
Other things on the to-do list in the near future is to sort out the water ingress, DTS bar, and coilovers.
I’ll be heading back home in a month and I’ll post an update then.
