People buy and sell on forums like Audizine all the time! You can always look through the user's past posts/threads and see if any of the threads where they've posted something for sale have gone sideways. And as OP said, Paypal "goods and services" offers protection for both the buyer and seller (for a small fee, usually 3-6%).

EXACTLY! I’ve done this kind of transaction dozens of times with PayPal, etc.

?? People like me (and including me) have literally parted out/dismantled entire cars and sold parts through this forum, often/usually incurring shipping. I'm not saying every seller is great but I can't fathom why you'd bother even looking into it (i.e. you responding in this thread) when you already know it's not a path you'll go down.
