New TT RS - what is this box plugged into my OBD II port???

I purchased a new 2021 TT RS a month ago, and just now noticed that something is plugged into my OBD II port.

What is this box? It has 4 lights across the bottom, 1st light is lit and has symbol of car below it, 2nd light is lit but I can't decipher symbol below it, third light is flashing and has a signal strength bar symbol below it, and 4th light is unlit and has a bluetooth symbol below it.

Anyone know what this box is and why it is plugged into my OBD II port????

Seriously, looks like the dealer forgot it in the car. Or...it is one of those 5G, Bill Gates tracking devices

Appreciate everyone's thoughts. Yeah, I was thinking Audi must use it to track the car in inventory and /or during transit. Or it could be a data plug for using the myAudi app and Audi connect. I'll see if the dealer knows. Thanks!

Had something similar in my 2014 S4 when I bought it new. Dealer called the next day asking for it back saying they forgot to take it out. He said it was what they use to update the software and config the car from transport mode to normal.

That makes sense, looks like something Audi definitely forgot to remove from the car
