Wow, didn't realize there was a new official 1/4 thread, thanks to everyone that made this happen! Shows how often I frequent AZ these days...I haven't even started the AR in over 2 months I just need to completely send it one of these days and get that 11.999. JHM has a K04-TCU tune combo they've been wanting to experiment with on with my car, need to get my timing serviced first though.

For my blank columns on the spreadsheet, tires were on 255/35/20, full weight of ~4060 pounds, stock TCU.

Go there right now and get your car back if they have it. You might get a decent enough tune in 4 years or so…if they don’t ruin it.

This is my first time here in Audizine, I have a 2010 B8 Audi A4 6 speed auto, I saw that there’s someone with a 2009 that has almost all the mods I’m planing to put on my car and his 1/4 mile time is 13.09 and I find that to be pretty disappointing since it’s very expensive to put all the mods to just get that time, but I’m noticing that the ZF8 makes a huge difference over the ZF6, I think everything has to do with the launch and then over 80mph because the ZF6 has very long gears, but my plan is to put:

-ECS luft-technik intercooler
-IE intake
-ECS red coil packs with NGK iridium spark plugs
-HPA K04 turbo
-IE K04 tune “stage 3”
-ARM test pipe
-ECS High flow Aluminum charge pipe kit
-ECS diverter valve
-CTS turbo muffler delete
-ECS downpipe
- Exhaust system: 1st resonator replaced by a vibrant resonator, 2nd resonator “below rear seats” deleted, Y pipe then muffler delete to quad exhaust, ( I’m probably going to change it for another custom exhaust later).

Besides all that since my car is consuming oil like crazy I’m planing on changing the pistons soon, I want to install JE performance 22mm forged pistons with IE forged 22mm rods and IE bearings and since the engine is going to be opened I’m going to probably replace the timing chain and all the gaskets, I don’t know if this could improve performance by a little bit, also my car has 51k miles 78k kms, My goal is to get this car in the low to mid 12s 1/4 mile times and 0-60 times around the low to mid 4s, so I would like to hear everyone’s opinion to see if this is actually possible or just everything you guys want to tell me, thanks !! “ I don’t know if I’m posting this right because it’s my first time here 😅

Build your motor, to fix the oil consumption and eventual timing issues, skip the K04 and get a hold of WardPerformanceTuning.

You will probably end up with a Boss 500/600 or EFR that can actually use your newly built motor, delete a number of K03/04 specific mods, go with a Rev9 or Wagner IC, upgrade fueling, ignition (plugs/coils), and a few custom pieces (down pipe/intake).

This route will probably end up saving you money vs going the IE KO4 route of disappointment only to have to redirect later and change hardware.

That car runs a 13 because of IE’s K04 tune and it has proven to be pretty conservative. If you are going to go with an off the shelf tune, pick APR.

You’re lucky, in the past you had to buy a B8.5 to run E, he actually saved you money and you can flash at home or on the side of the road.

What’s the best 60 foot you ever got?

And that’s good to know that Autotech fuel pumps are also failing on other models besides the S4. I wonder if every model is having issues because multiple S4 owners have gone through multiple Autotech pumps. Some finally get one that works, some don’t.
