Not a B8 it's my VW T6 TSI 4motion but with same EA888.2 engine as B8:

VW T6 TSI 4motion VAN 6'4" high 4850Lb
Full tank 21 Gallon
1 Electric mountain bike , 2 windsurf and 6 sails, mast and boom in the trunk
EA888.2 engine
E85 stage 3 tune by PBS 28 Psi peak tapering to 21.5psi at 6000rpm
Mabotech injector's
VIS stage 2 HPFP
Aem 340L/H Lpfp
HFC 3.5 to 3"
2.75" scorpion cat back
home made intake
Turbo JH5 Hybrid

My van has a DQ 500 gear box ( same as RS3/TTRS) but on those van the launch controls is not activated. So I start from idle and floor it.
That is why the shitty 60 Ft time
I need to push my tuner to activate the launch control.
With that and an empty van I think I should be in 13second? May be.

That's a solid time and trap speed given the size of your van and it being loaded with stuff. Without all the cargo you should definitely shave some time. Have you tried "brake boosting" on the launch? (press gas and brake pedal then quickly let off brake once it loads up) That could help you 60ft while you wait to get launch control

Here the culture is Rally, lot of every day driver have great skill on B twisty road
We have been world champion for almost the last 20 years with Sebastien Leob ( 9 time world champion) and Sebastien Ogier ( 7 time world champion)


About the Cargo I was not supposed to do Draggy. I had it since a few week but it was so hot that I thought no point.
And yesterday suddenly temp drop to 24°C and on my way to go MTB I found a flat stretch so I thought why not have a try.
the windsurf gear is always in the van in case wind pick up.

MTM wit their RS3 engine swap 472CHP in that van does 1/4mile in 13.4 second.
That EA888.2 is really not bad.

Your trap speed leads me to believe that you can get a lower time if you brake boost your launch.

no, you have the fastest van, also there were slower times in the old thread i just didn't feel like copying them over. Like i tell the group of guys a go to the track with i have the fastest wagon in the group and thank god the hondas show up so i can beat someone.

I try to brake boost. But look like touching the brake close the throttle.
I can't build any boost. or get RPM higher. I think it's the same thing as when I try left foot braking on snow. Kill the power.

i guess it did spin a little in the one on the left but no noise and not obvious like on the right

Just ran my second best time last night, (won't clog the thread with a dragy that slower than my best) after DA correction it was only .02 slower than my best but I trapped 2mph slower than I did on my best run.

Any guesses as to where I might have lost 2mph? Plugs have ~11k meth injected miles on them (I usually run them for 15k or so) coils are of the R8 variety with ~25k

Interesting, it just has me a little puzzled as every time I do a run my trap speeds seem to be consistently slower than they used to be. I haven't changed my driving (6mt) other than occasionally having a nice launch. I could still be splitting hairs though I suppose.
