Honestly I have no Idea. Just collecting the parts list so it is easier for the shop to order them.I will be leaving the car on monday morning.
I don't want to have CEL light on even if I change the PCV valve.

I don't see a solenoid or plug for a connection to one on either of those two parts.

So I guess the CTUC engine is a bit different than S4 and a7 engines ?

Will tell the shop to change the pcv valve, thermostat and water pump. And clean the SAI, because it is really annoying.

You do have a electronic solenoid for your PCV breather. The S4s usually just have a simple check valve and the 3.0TSFI paired with a ZF8 get a electronic solenoid.

Good catch. I didn't replace mine when I did the pcv, t-stat and water pump, so I didn't pay much attention. Just unplugged everything and plugged back after installing the new parts. No problems so far.

This one ended up bitting me. I had my PCV replaced and still got a PCV code. It turned out to be this little valve. It can get gummed up on the inside and it sticks open or closed. I would get a very weird idle, almost a stall from time to time which turned out to be related to that little valve.

So I am gathering a list with the parts that I need to Order:
    1. Water Pump
    2. Thermostat
    3. PCV Valve
    4. Crankcase Breather Hose
    5. Lower intake manifold seals
    6. Upper intake manafold seals
    7. Fuel Injector Seal Kit
    8. Supercharger Oil:G070000A1
    9.Front coolant Pipe
    10. PCV Valve Hose
    11. Freeze plugs for the SAI on the front end of the Engine

I think I have missed something so Please feel free to add it to the list.

That is a good list , If it's possible I would send your injectors out for a cleaning/rebuild. They will come back with new seals so you won't need them.

Well I've ordered the parts and with the discount they will cost me around 860$ which is pretty decent. Only the WP is 180$

    Just hit the 100K milestone!
PCV went so I'm doing em all. I was probably going to do the Carbon cleaning soon anyway. Parts to do this all came to about the same, $841 I think. Unfortunately I'm also gonna have to rent a compressor as mine no longer exists.

I just hit the 100K milestone as well a couple of weeks ago I mostly drive my 15 FoST around here on post, but my 14 Q5 does get out every once in a while After my surgery in Dec I will be getting the Q5 completely redone as far as a complete tune up, but it won't probably happen until Feb or so.

I did all of this plus the belts on the front. If you have not done this then there are three tools that will make this easier/will need.

Triple square bits. If you're not going to put the front bumper in service mode then make sure they are short.

A large and small hex drive ratchet. The large one for the front of the engine that will fit the triple square bits I mentioned above.

The small hex drive ratchet for a bolt on the back of the passenger head.

    This one worked well: https://www.oreillyauto.com/detail/c...x+drive&pos=14

    This one didn't work: https://www.amazon.com/hex-bit-ratch...ex+bit+ratchet

I did not put my front bumper in service mode so this made the job much easier.

The last thing is to keep the thermostat out when getting down to the PCV valve. The pipe that runs from the back of the engine, above the PCV valve, and into the thermostat housing can be a pain to get out. If the thermostat is out you can push it out of the hole it is in.

The whole front end will be coming Down, have to clean the SAI, Will be leaving the car in the shop oh Thursday.

Well, they just called, from all the pipes that I have ordered I forgot to order the coolant cross pipe. They told me that 9 out of 10 cases it breaks. They are a VAG workshop, so they know what they are doing.

This is great to see, let's keep 'em going! I'm at 122k miles. Not that high yet, but definitely needing some high mileage care. Just replaced the upper timing chain tensioners to fix the cold-start rattle.

Not sure I ever posted an update. Now 130k and stronger than ever. She rips!! Tackled all the above maintenance last year. This spring I resealed the upper timing covers and re welded the passenger side cat (cracked at flange). The AC blower stopped spinning last month so I removed/cleaned and greased and it's back in business.

I love that these 3.0T engines so far everything has been very DIY friendly. Aka haven't needed to pull the engine or drop the transmission at all and that's great. Crossing my fingers it stays that way for another 50k hopefully.

Got the car at around 108k miles or (175k km) now it is at 138k miles or (222k km) So far I've done waterpump change, t-stat, pcv and also all the little things under the charger.Cleaned the intake valves, they told me it was nasty. I've replaced the upper tentioners as there was a small rattle on cold start. I've also had issue with the transmission after the oil was changed, so I had to change all the clutch packs and refurbished the torque converter.
Also changed the upper control arms on both sides and one of the lower control arms on passenger side.
Now the issue is that I have some sort of rattle and it is pissing me off. Everything is changed on the passenger side but that rattle is really annoying. I will probably check it before I change to my winter tires.

edit: I am running stock as even with stock car I got like 3 or 4 fines in the span of a month
