So I looked around and felt that the EVOMS intake was best, next to the Carb. intake. The reason why I say this, is because only the EVO and Carb. intakes are covered and pretty much do not allow engine heat to be sucked in. This intake comes with a coated aluminum sheild that screws on top to cover the top part of the engine, as well it has a side cover that blocks engine heat. The top cover has been cut, so u can utilize the stock intake snorkel to pull in outside air. Very clean and nice. Do some looking into and you'll know what I mean. Also, the tubing is obviously 4" in diameter and at the end of the tubing, it spreads open to about 6". Looks just like a trumpet's horn. The cone filter is shaped oddly to fit around this 6" opening and narrows back down to size. This technology is very very similar to GruppeM intakes. Look at this site and the cone filter is very similar to this, as well as EVOMS's desing of the intake, sort of.

So to begin, the install took me 30-40 minutes, very very easy and fits like a glove. Ill try and put up some pics this weekend. But almost immediately after driving it around, the throttle response has greatly increased. It is a lot more CRISP. The sound in the engine bay is not obnoxious and sounds soo damn sexy, like a V8 should sound like. After driving it for about 3 days now, it seems the car is running stronger, no loss of power, at all....even at lower speeds, but seems like the car pulls harder, all throughout the bandwidth. The car had no issues pulling from any cruising speed before, but now, there definitely is a noticeable difference with the throttle response and the pull of the car...overall, no jokes...well worth the 320 bucks. Great sound to the car, looks soooo damn good in the engine bay and helps with performance. Highly recommended.
