How do I know it's actually working on my car and that I've gained more horsepower and can I find out how much horsepower I've gained ? Also is there anything I need to know that's important once installed? Where can I find 93 octane at in Southern California?

Did you get a chance to try the app? If you use it and switch between maps, you can do a pull on a stock map (Map 0), and then switch over to Map 1 and feel the difference. Alternatively you can simply plug/unplug the JB4 from the OBD2 port and feel the difference.

We don't have any 93 in California, and even our neighboring states (to SoCal) don't have 93. There are some spots around that offer race gas (100 octane) but it's quite expensive. This looks like a decent website for finding race gas pumps: https://www.240turbo.com/Unleaded_Ra..._in_SoCal.html

Gotta hit the dyno to find out how much power your car gained.
