    Hi,

Just found this infotaiment system working on an audi a3 8v.
It looks awsome. Does anyone know more information of the installation process.

It requires the usual upgrade of the steering wheel buttons, upgrade of the MMI, Coding via Odin and request to be unlocked by Audi to make sure is not stolen, coding the immobilizer and the keys to it.

My only issue with the VC is that I keep seeing the ones that display temp in C° and not Farenheit for those who lives in the USA that were cursed by learning the stupid Imperial system instead of the metric it can be annoying.

Why is everything going digital? I prefer my analog gauges. I really don't even like the screen that pops out of the dash, good thing it can be tucked back in.

Lots of modern conveniences are great. But "upgrading" something just because you can isn't always better. Keyless entry makes using your car easier to use, digital gauges don't really. Just more of something to brag about to me. They also feel so fake, like you're playing a video game. Just my opinion.

I just heard it's no longer possible to remove component protection from a used VC cluster - can anyone pls confirm? About to upgrade to MIB2 and was hoping to get VC done at the same time...
