RS5 Disc Brake Pad Wear Sensors original vs aftermarket

Do you guys have any experience with buying aftermarket Disc Brake Pad Wear Sensors?

Original parts from Audi cost over $200:

    Front: https://parts.audiusa.com/p/Audi__/D...0615121AB.html
    Rear: https://parts.audiusa.com/p/Audi__/D...W0615121E.html

I could buy these BOWA for around $30:

Is there any difference or this is just a simple cable?

The difference is that the audi OEM ones are made with nano precise cutting that ensures maximum grip and wear resistance, along with this the OEM part guarrantees the highest reliability factor out of any part available on the market as it is made with the most experienced technicians and engineers on the planet. To conclude, I made all of that up and I truly believe that buying the cheaper option could be a good way to save $170 if it works, and if it doesn’t then whatever, you spent $30 on a lesson. I say go for it as long as you know it is the correct part.

It's literally just a wire; those Audi prices are absurd.

Nah man there's no rocket science to then at all. My old OEM sensors are literally disintegrated and held to the brake pad with super glue (I didn't have any new ones on hand when I did my brakes). I don't plan to ever let my brakes wear down so much that the sensor will go off (wire worn through), so if I was to replace them, I would get the $30 ones (or like $6 from other places on the web)

Tell me about it, I got a $6,000 quote from a dealer for a break job.
