Matrix Headlights Fully Enabled

Once the matrix lights have been enabled can the function be turned off through the settings menu if necessary?

That’s it. What you see is all it does.

I was getting the matrix enabled and he said he just got the packet in and wanted to test it.

I reached out to set this up and he also says he can activate the maneuver assist feature. Has anyone done this as well? Any experience using it?

Also, anyone have pics of the blue laser light at night from the front?

You don't see the blue when looking from the front (it's like a side marker) and very tough to get a shot of that since lights glare the pic.

Just finished my install with Sam. He did an awesome job and the install was seamless. Lots of deer where I live so the matrix is a nice feature to have.

Once the Matrix lights are enabled, they takeover the Auto High beams feature. So if you do not want the Matrix lights to turn on, just drive at night with the Auto High beams switched off.

In my opinion, however, the lights are not obtrusive and I would just leave the auto high beams on all the time anyways.

I found a Canadian shop which can enable the matrix LED remotely as well. Their price is $700 for matrix LED, $300 for blue laser, $300 for auto object evading. Wondering how much does Sam charge for the blue laser and auto object evading?

I thought I’d mention how to best get a hold of Sam. First off, he’s awesome and extremely knowledgeable. I do work in my cars and I personally VAG-COM and ODIS so i know what he’s doing.

I’ve enabled Matrix, Blue LED and VIM on my car through the main man himself.

These are not things you can program but you need to upload a file to your car to enable these features. Audi USA never installed these features for our cars.

If you need to get a hold of him, the best way is through WhatsApp. He’s got a legitimate company so here is the information:

Video in motion - you can watch videos while the car is moving. I have to say that this is dangerous. I do it because i have kids and they can see the screen from the back seat.

I just got my Matrix LED done by Sam today! Tested it out on some back roads and they work exactly as expected. The headlights lit up the whole road and I watched them shut off as oncoming cars approached. Everything went smoothly and the service was great!

I got the Blue LED accent light in the headlights turned on, turned off the orange side marker (looks way better now) and enabled Video in Motion (this also gives you access to the keyboard for navigation input while moving). This is helpful because the voice control in Waze isn't great and my passenger can input the address easily while the car is moving now. This is especially helpful for a highway drive when the car won't be stopping but you may need to input an address quickly.

Would definitely recommend Sam and his services!!

It’ll be rare that an update will overwrite things, but if that happens, the reprogramming is covered by Sam’s warranty.

It won’t affect your Audi warranty.

From where are you guys sourcing the VAS5054A (or VAS6154A) cable? Everywhere I search online I am finding what appear to be inexpensive knock-off copies and I'm not sure if they really work or not.
