Options for filling front license plate

Ohio had recently eliminated the front plate requirement, unfortunately the S4 I picked up was fitted with one. I removed the plate bracket and it looks better, but still needs some sort of a cover. This is all that I can find and am wondering what else is out there? Also does anyone know if this kit effectively makes it look as if the “grill bars go all of the way across? If not I think the extra chrome might not look that great.

That is only for a b8 if your 8.5 you will need a new grille to remove the holes

The plate fillers are also available without the chrome stripes. I have a 2011 that I replaced the plate holder with a satin black plate filler that makes the front of the car look so much better. I got it from Europa Parts. See https://www.europaparts.com/catalogs...T+PLATE+FILLER

ECS has a variety of plate fillers here: https://www.ecstuning.com/Search/Sit..._plate_filler/, and as ALAN12186 noted above, there are differences between the B8 and B8.5s.

Just noticed that you posted another thread about getting a tune and that you also have a 2011 S4. The part you're looking for (assuming you want a satin black filler) is 8k0807287a3fz. Available from a variety of sellers at a range of prices. There are just 2 screws that hold the filler in place -- it's a 5 minute job. The satin black looks great on my car -- you won't be disappointed.

I like that look except my grill has the chrome trim, so IDK how well that would go with it.
