    OEM Diverter valve VTA? Plausible?

Yes I know this is going to be considered "stupid" and all just for sound/to appease the inner ricer in me... But just an idea, has anyone explored venting the OEM Diverter valves to atmosphere and just plugging the recirculation lines??? I know Forge makes VTA Diverter valves, and some people are grinding their block to do the Go Fast Bits route, but this may be a cheaper solution? I actually had a similar setup years ago when I was younger on my 1.8t GTI where the kit I cant recall who sold it came with a VTA valve and a plug for the recirculation line, it was from a well known online tuning shop similar to ECS...

Any thoughts/information out there? And as I mentioned, I get it that this is a stupid/pointless mod, but there is no need for flaming. We build our cars to our personal tastes and that is the bottom line. I'm looking for actual information or logical thoughts not any snarky comments so please keep them to yourself....Also if you had a bad day or just hate your life and want to be a d*#k on here, save your time and again...please seek help somewhere else.

Thanks in advance to those who may actually share valuable/reasonable information. Cheers!

If you want to hear the turbo blowoff, the SRM intakes make the turbos very audible.
