    Remap not working? Limp mode?

Hi guys, I recently bought an Audi A4 B7 2.0T FSI FWD and decided to get it remapped, when I took it on a test drive it went into limp mode and would go over 3/4K and struggle to gain speed, it was like the turbo wasn’t working. I checked the error codes and I got this:

    16618/P0234/000564

Which suggests a faulty N75 or G31, does this sound like this could be causing the issue or could it be something deeper like the ECU? Thanks

    Anyone got any ideas?

Who is the tune from?? But yes, overboost is normally bad n75(boost control solenoid). Can check it by checking resistance between the pins. 25ohms,iirc, is what ya want. Or very close. Also check none of the vac lines for it are damaged. Also could be a bad map sensor, but not as common. Have you done any boost logs to see exactly whats going on?

    Hi,

The N75 valve was just tested and was apparently fully functional, the boost sensor was changed, no boost leaks and it doesn’t boost without the map until 3.5k revs is that normal?? With the map there is no boost whatsoever, the map apparently is a dyno tested plug and play one from online so it COULD be the issue but what else can I test?

I don't know how it would act without a map sensor. What map sensor you install? Aftermarket?? Ya didn't mention who tuned it..are you able to flash back to stick, to see if the issue is hardware related, or software related? Do you have a boost gauge, to see if your getting low boost, or no boost? And do ya have something to log with? Vcds, Obdeleven pro, etc.

Agreed, we need more information here. P0234 is NOT a good code to have... But if I may chime in here, the tune most likely isn't the problem. (Also FWIW, technically all "Dyno tested plug and play" tunes are pretty much EVERY tune out there available for this platform).

Check that N75, and if you replace it don't get a cheap knockoff one. Also as @Jayz691 said above, check the line going from the high pressure port from the turbo to the N75, make sure the tube isn't cracked/split/leaking.

Ahh, read that wrong. You said the tune is a "plug and play" tune, guessing one of those $200 tunes off ebay?? I mean it "shouldnt" be the issue, but wouldn't rule it out. I wouldn't trust one of them personally. Just check all your hardware first. And def get yourself vcds, Obdeleven pro, etc. Gonna wanna do some logging at one point. Even if you fix this issue. Id wanna know how the tune is functioning..
