A weekend trip to PA to see family and pickup some goodies for the next iteration of the car

1. Verkline front subframe. This was previously obtained for Jordan’s widebody avant down in FL. However, earlier this year he elected to sell the car on and he had a bunch of things that hadn’t yet been installed. This was one. A mutual friend was down at the Eurotripper event a couple months ago and was kind enough to bring this back with him for me.

2. CELison former built engine. Only had a couple thousand miles when pulled and he parted the car out and left us four ringed plebes for greener pastures. It was having some coolant loss, so first plan of action is going to be to remove the rms, inspect. I have a fresh genuine one to go in its place. Then, depending on what’s found, remove the heads, inspect. It’s a nice stout BEL, full ARP top to bottom, 2.7 heads with 2.8 intake cams. Looking forward to breathing new life into her and giving her a happy home.

Im adding a host of stuff to it before it eventually gets in my car: Tuner oil pump, Tuner insulated exhaust manifolds, RS4 intake manifold/throttle body. Turbos and IC’s not finalized yet, but will be soon.

This was a long weekend. Drove from MA yesterday, stayed over in Allentown. From Allentown to York for the subframe, back to Bethlehem to drop a special bumper off to a good client and friend, then to CELison’s place for the engine, and then back to New England

That engine hoist has had quite the life too. I bought it in 2012, left it at my friend's parent house in Pittsburgh (RTL5009). Then he took it will him when he moved to MA. When he moved to AZ, he left it at our other friend's house, then that friend brought it to my house when we did a turbo swap on another mutual friend's car. Now it's back off to MA to Rmode's house lol. It's been ridden hard and put away wet to say the least.
