Go even cheaper, heet is expensive (relatively). I can buy a 5 gallon can of vp m1 for $43 locally. At $2 a bottle for heet you'll be $106 vs $43 buying the M1.

I'm jealous, I haven't been able to find M1 locally. I should really just order it as even with the markup of the online vendors (seems like they want $60+ shipping) I could save close to 50%/gal

Had to say goodbye to my beloved MY2015 A8L with 413449 miles on the clock when it got rear-ended, pushing into the car in front. …* Of course …*uninsured motorist .

Noooo! Sorry for your loss, sounds like you're okay though which is what counts.

That some serious mileage you had on her! What engine did it have? Any major issues?

It had the 4.0T engine. Frequent maintenance keeps these vehicles running. The mileage required issues to be fixed quickly. No major issues, although I did have some issues with the coolant system and some misfire issues—especially as mileage went up. Frequent tune-ups fixed much of this. Other than this, it was just wear-and-tear issues, including some suspension work around 375K.

Noooo, sorry to see this but glad you are ok. Loved seeing your mileage post updates, gives me hope for my S8.

Did you just follow the regular Audi maintenance schedule to reach that mileage?

Long time Audi enthusiast/owner, but finally picked up my dream Audi (besides the c7 Rs6 avant which we never got) back in July. Such amazing cars, and I plan on keeping it forever, eventually just as a third car. For now it’s my daily and I’m loving it.

Currently running DS1 OTS stage 1 tune with upgraded HPFP’s and LPFP’s (previous owner ran ethanol, but I just run 93).

Already took it on a few road trips. The speed, comfort, refinement, and B&O sound system makes this car such a joy to drive

Interior upgrade as well as Audio...Full Alcantara and B&O advance audio, been looking at these for a while, so I went eBay & eBay.de shopping. I'm not particularly interested in the new Audi design language, so I'm keeping my old ass cars.

I dented one of my winter wheels and it was irreparable. Scored some Q5 wheels. Narrower, needed spacers, but had good snow tires on them already so it was a quick solution.

MMI screen is getting worse with staying closed. Might be time to finally bite the bullet and get a touch screen AA unit.

Wee... Car is upside down! Not sure what's up with that. I even rotated the picture and uploaded it "upside down" and its still wrong.

Transmission drain and fill + filter. 100k miles+ with the original factory fluid. Surprisingly the trans internal were shiney and clean. The fluid was brown however and the magnets were caked with goop.

I had to drain and fill it 3 times driving a few miles each time to mix the old and new stuff. And each time only about 4 liters came out. Buts I noticed it's shifting a lot smoother now once I finally got most of it out.
