    Finally some linear springs!

Do you have the measurements for the stock spring rates?

Can't really tell how much they lower the car because the car is black. But linear springs sound nice!
The spring rates are pretty low so I guess this is mostly for daily driving?

Please elaborate more on how these would work with Audi Adaptive Suspension? Would this throw any codes or are they 100 percent compatible? Would one notice the difference between comfort and dynamic still on these springs?

Looks awesome. Is the recommendation to run these with OEM shocks?

Swapping just the springs won't throw you any code.

Even if they are linear, those rates are super low. Im on ST coilovers on my B7 and the rates are 690 pounds front and 750 pounds rear. They are both linear. And id still like a stiffer spring up front

Im sure the stock B8 S4 springs under compression are stiffer than those 034 have here.

I like how these come out right when my B12 kit shows up. I like the drop on these. Any testers out there what to comment on ride quality/performance?

No problem. I highly doubt you'll be disappointed with the B12 kit. Half or more of the performance will come from the dampers.

This is awesome! Can't wait for tester reviews. I've been mulling over what to buy to lower my ride and this seems like a perfect solution. If any of the testers with a white car can post pics, try would be sweet!

this is another offering I can't quite make sense of from a physics standpoint . I believe those springs rates are softer than stock, plus you are lowering the car using stock height strut assemblies. . seems like a recipe for bump stop city.

I was not able to find a very reliable source for what the stock spring rates are. Were you?

That was according to Stasis, which seems entirely too stiff. Here's the post from dreamingin302ci:

    "B8 Spring Rate Chart:
Stock S5: 480f/440r* Rear rates are incorrect. These are obtained from Stasis literature. No way it's 440 on a 0.95 rear axle motion ratio. Rear rates from factory are closer to 200.
    PSS10: 540f/298r
    RSS: 686f/343r
    Prokit: 336f/171r
    Solowerks Sedan: 690f/250-275r
    Solowerks Avant: 690f/320-350r
    KW HAS: 542f/286r
    H&R Street: 450f/450r
    ST Coilovers: 690f/286r
    Stasis post motion ratio: 296f/400r
    Stasis pre motion ratio: 750f/1100r
H&R OE Sport: 480f/200r *According to tech I spoke with. He stressed that OE sport = factory spring rate. But this may only be the rate at static compression. It may ramp up due to it being progressive (vs factory springs are linear)"

If these are correct, the 034 springs are stiffer than the eibach prokit all around -- Then vs H&R OE sport, they're softer in the front and stiffer in the rear.

Agreed. If I had more miles on my car, I'd definitely get the b12s as they can be had for cheaper than a set of b8s or other dampers.

Can vouch that the b12 kit is a price friendly upgrade and better than stock in every way:)

I believe book time (without alignment) is about 6.5 hours total front and rear, but the rear springs are kind of a pain to get at. I wouldn't be surprised if some places were booking out for a full day including alignment. Hope that helps!

Wow. That's a long time! I was figuring maybe 1-2hrs like most other cars. Hence my thoughts about being over priced. But if that's the case, pricing is fair.

A tip to get the rear springs out very easy is to compress the rear springs using the jack under each rear control arm
Then use mechanic wire and loop around 3 of the coils (i wrap the wire in 3 or 4 layers so it doesnt brk) when there compressed..
Then lower the jack and pull the springs out..
I have the rear springs out and lowering ones done in 30min max..
