DIY Video: How to manually bleed your 3.0T

Just uploaded our DIY on bleeding your 3.0T engine's coolant system. I filmed this while filming my video on installing my MercRacing 4.0T Heat Exchanger, but decided to also upload this as a stand alone video because so many people ask about a Coolant Bleed DIY.

I showed how to bleed all points (Heat Exchanger, Heater Core, Supercharge Bleed ports)

You may not have to bleed your heater core bleed port ever, but I put it in there just so people can see it.

    Enjoy!

    Noteworthy Information:

(Will update this when I have more time)

Thank you for the video. Small tip, you can hit the -/+ button on the left side of the steering wheel to stop the beeping.

Someone actually mentioned that in the comments on the video. I never knew lol. Great to know now though!

Last year I got a kit off Amazon similar to this for $40. Worked great for refilling my cooling system. I did not have to mess with any bleeder screws. Still had to add about a quart after everything warmed up but I still find that a success.

Yup. There are kits Amazon that are a lot cheaper.

I've still found that even with a vacuum bleeder you still need to manually bleed the HX & sc to get a little bit of air out.

Do you need air compressor? I haven’t gotten one in all these years and have NO air tools at all!

Yes the one I pointed to you need an air comp to draw the vacuum.
