I flashed the 91 file this afternoon. Coming from the EPL Tune I feel the 034 Tune is more refined. Regular daily driving 2nd to 3rd shifting was very rough with EPL. With the 034 it's a lot smoother like when it was stock. Pedal response is much more linear and when you get on it the acceleration is very smooth and linear as well. I'm sure it'll keep getting better as I drive it but those are my first impressions of the 034 Tune for now. I'm happy I switched.

At this price level, the performance you're getting might make you turn that lease end into a buy-out . Let us know if you have any questions about the tune and we'd be happy to answer them!

Sean, I know that mpg efficiency is not high on most lists... but it's a nice bonus for DD commutes. I currently get about 5% (1.5mpg) better year over year with my APR tune compared with OEM. Any idea how your tunes fare with efficiency?

I unfortunately can't get better than 91 octane or ethanol free 92 (my choice), so I'm running a 91 tune.

Our Marketing Manager Nick noticed that he maintained the same, if not slightly higher mpg than stock on his day-to-day commute as stock in his SQ5. Though it’s hard to not floor it with the added power!

Any word on B9 SQ5 lowering links for air suspension? I'd be interested in a fixed length version that would lower the car to a sportier driving position without chasing issues with being out of level and without running into suspension error codes for being too low.

How about starting a sign up list but I'm interested in a Front & Rear set as well as some SS Braided Brake Lines. I've contemplated a BBK but why when we already have 6 piston fronts and you lose the brake wear sensors.

    +1 for rotors.

I finally got the front strut brace on and it makes a world of difference. I don't know what the deal is with my car but the cowl and the two pieces that come out with the strut bar were glued together. Anxiously awaiting that rear sway bar and end links now.

Now Available from 034Motorsport: Printed Cut-to-Fit Windshield Banner

The 034Motorsport Windshield Banner is the single most substantive way to represent the best name in Volkswagen & Audi aftermarket. Not only does this banner provide you a unique way to tell others they are about to receive the gap, but also has a transformative amount of sun blocking.

This cut-to-fit windshield banner is perfect for reducing some sun glare on your drive and repping 034Motorsport!

Note: If you have a windshield sensor for auto wipers or auto headlights, you will have to trim a hole in the banner to accommodate, or don’t; we’re your tuner, not your father ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

    Sean--

Could you clarify your point on the NVH for this transmission mount? Does the B9 SQ5 with the ZF 8 speed see much/any additional NVH? Or is it mainly DSG/S-tronic vehicles?

    From the website:
Please Note: Installation of this upgrade will result in increased noise and vibration transmission into the cabin, especially in vehicles equipped with the Tiptronic transmission.

There is a slight bit of NVH with the B9 SQ5 with the upgraded Street Density Transmission Mount; I should update that comment. It is very slight in my opinion though everyone has a different point of view on NVH, similar to how everyone builds their hamburger in their own unique way.

This adds very minimal NVH in our SQ5 and is extremely noticeable in how it tightens upshifts and downshifts when paired with the billet insert.

My apologies. The original reply was that you needed at least 10 interested parties to move forward with Rotors for the SQ5.

Installed the Strut Brace and tuned using the 91 octane file. Wow, what a difference! Low end torque on all drive modes have changed behavior dramatically. My wife drove the car for the first time since the tune today and she said, "car is fast as hell, what happened?" The improvement in every day driving was well worth this tune. I may have to buy out this car when the lease is due next year now.

The strut brace is awesome as expected. I had it installed on my S5 previously and it made a big difference in turn in stability and feel. Same results on the SQ. Great work guys. The only issue I had was the removal of the windshield wipers. Took some innovation to get it off lol.

Glad to hear you're loving the tune and strut brace! I love the changes they've made to my SQ5 as well!

I just removed the rubber on the cowl and lifted the cowl up and undid the bolts. Nothing much more to explain lol
