Need help locating placement for brackets

STILL waiting on parts so I might as well put everything on the engine. I have two brackets that each need a home on Olaf. Can anyone help with this?

The bottom one goes on your rear timing cover and the wiring harnesses straps to it 20210331_200608.jpg

I think it is held on with the bottom vacuum pump bolt. The one that has the larger head in it

That one is still a mystery. The bracket is too thin for an engine hoist spot. Besides those are accounted for.

Agreed, it was pretty dirty. Everything on the back of the engine and bell housing needed lots of cleaning.

I almost think the first bracket attaches to the bell housing.

Here’s a clean picture of where the larger bracket goes. As you can see it uses a larger headed bolt. It is part of the vacuum pump assembly. Makes me wonder about the other bracket now.

I’m sure all of you were chomping at the bit to know where that last bracket goes. After combing through gigs of video I found it. It attaches to driver’s side of transmission and holds the big round connector that connects to the transmission.

that stuff irritates me too.. i have one bolt leftover from my engine build that i forgot to put back in. I know exactly where it goes and it does absolutely nothing but i have been hanging on to it for 2 years and i plan to put it back in the next time the front end comes off.
