Yup. It was here I discovered my custom ordered SQ5 was on sale for less than I had negotiated. I was able to re-negotiate and saved $1,000 lol. I don't think the GM was thrilled about it, but they showed good faith and I'll recommend them (Tri-Cities) to anyone in the PNW.

I have my commission number and my build week is still 2121.

I chatted with Audi customer service and their current ETA for delivery is sometime is between July 7th and 27th.

Good stuff, iain! We have the same build week and very similar details. July will be a great month. Can’t wait to receive that “in production” email.

I'll also be joining the SQ5 party after having a '15 AR since November 2014.

I was fortunate to score a '21 SQ5 SB Prestige in Daytona Gray w/Black Nappa Leather, Dynamic Steering, Sport Package, Carbon Inlays, and Black Optic Package. It had been ordered by the dealer for stock, and checked all the right boxes. Goes into Production at the end of this month with delivery in late June/early July. I was able to use my ACNW discount, too.

I have also check the box for the trailer hitch (for our hitch-mounted bike rack), which is one of the few port-installed items I could get. I'll have to do the Hot Tips and Black badges myself, as they are not offered as port-installed options on the SQ5 Sportback

So Audi sent out that email last week but car is currently in production this week, which is the week they've said all along, 2121. It is scheduled to be finished Saturday. The chat rep (got someone different this time) said they'd have a VIN when production is officially complete, so I'll check back in next week.

Agreed I just bought a preowned, '18 SQ5, I had two choices (that i narrowed down) a Florrett Silver with luxury trappings (well appointed Premium Plus) or a Ibis White (Premium Plus) that was set up as a driver car with S Sports Package and digital package. Truthfully all the wiz bang stuff, you pay for, you never use. I opted for the Drivers Car. I've never had the Sport Differential. I've had 3 S4's, RS4, and '15 SQ5. I get the care in about 7-10 days! I cannot wait.

I just got off chat with Audi CS and my car is still in production (it went in last week) and is going to be delayed at least another week, maybe 2 by their estimate. They are still showing my delivery date to port in Houston as the 24th but I don't see how that's possible. I imagine that will get pushed once the car is out of production and actually ready to leave the factory.

My '21 SQ5 arrived at the Port Of Houston last week, but is held up at the port as the port-installed QFH Trailer Hitch has not been installed yet due to lack of availability.

My salesman asked if I still wanted it, to which I said "Let's wait a little bit..", otherwise it could be loaded on a carrier for transport to my dealer. The Audi Distribution Advocate could not provide an ETA for receipt of the trailer hitch. Ugh. Apparently my SQ5 is not the only one waiting for a hitch install...

I'd have to ask my salesman the specific week, but the dealership originally placed the order for stock in February.

UPDATE: The trailer hitch has been installed in the Port of Houston, so my SQ5 SB is now on a carrier for transport. Expect its delivery to the dealership by July 12th.

Is yours still a 2021? Our 2nd SQ5 order placed end of March got changed to 2022 model ETA mid - late Sept.

Yea, still a 2021. It actually went into production back in May (on time) but then sat, incomplete, for ~2 months.

According to my guy, the dealer gets invoiced for the car, they put it into their stock then once stocked it appears on the website.

Nice! I feel your pain. If you get your car when the paperwork says your car took (1) week less than mine last year. I had ordered mine (1) week sooner and got it about the same day as you are supposed to get yours in September. Showing up on the dealer’s website is the final stretch. The ship schedules are not evenly spaced, sometimes your car gets on a ship ahead of the one originally scheduled sometimes a later one. Last year all staff that provides the info of the progress of your car were laid off due to COVID so it was an information blackout. Well worth the wait to get exactly what you want if can’t find it on a lot.

Well, my car showed up at my dealer yesterday. It only took 4 days to get there from port. My guy sent me pics yesterday and was flabbergasted.

Montway emailed this morning that the driver bailed. Bummer since they already billed me…

They emailed again little while ago that they have a new one driver booked and the pick-up is still scheduled for tomorrow. My buddy said I should expect the car to still not get picked up, transport is just really flaky.

So, cautious optimism it is.

He did just bomb me with 51 close-up pics of the car though. So I have those to fawn over.
