    We understand that crackles are a widely debated topic, and we always strive to provide files that suit the needs of our customers. Up to now, the overwhelming feedback from customers has been that they are liked, so we have focused on providing them with our tunes. From here forward, we will offer our ECU tuning with no crackles upon request at no added cost.

    All files currently with crackles enabled in Dynamic mode are now available without crackles entirely. If you would like a no-crackle file variant added to your flashing portal for your existing tuning, please email [email protected] with your flashing information and the octanes/stages you would like without crackles.

    We will not offer custom crackle adjustments or changes to our existing crackle files. This is solely to provide customers who would like no crackles the option to select that.

    Currently have catless DP and intake on 034 Stage 2 ECU and Stage 1 TCU

    Has anyone got their no-crackle tunes yet? The post said the files were readily available. I sent my request the same day the post was added. I received a reply from the tuning team 6/21 saying they would let me know when the files are uploaded. I haven't heard anything since. While I'm not in a major rush, I was under the impression it would be reasonably quick to get these files added to the portal.

    In their last live discussion they mention that they are working on them, but that they are lower on the priority list and would likely take a couple of weeks to push out once requested.

    While it isn't specific to the B9 S4/S5/SQ5/RS5, we thought we'd share some testing we did on our 8Y S3 - comparing the performance differences between OE rotors and our 2-Piece rotors.

    Some things this data highlights:
    • Data collected as 14 consecutive 60-0mph stops (ABS)
    • Incorrect veining on left and right rotors (The same rotor is used on both front axles). This is seen as a performance deficit with the front and rear having a sizable temperature difference on the same braking event.
    • Once the 034Motorsport rotors come to temp, they stabilize at the temperature and gradually climb in temperatures, rather than the steeper slope of the OEM rotors.

    034Motorsport Stage 3 & Stage 3+ Performance Software for the EA839 3.0T equipped with the Pure750 Hybrid Turbocharger (running pump gas or ethanol) is engineered to safely increase the horsepower and torque beyond the stock turbocharger. Significant time was spent refining and safely optimizing the Pure750 Turbocharger calibration to ensure unrivaled drivability and uncompromised reliability.     In addition to power improvements, 034Motorsport's engineers spent a significant amount of time refining the throttle mapping in both Dynamic and Comfort modes to provide improved throttle response and allow for more precise throttle modulation with the addition of a hybrid turbocharger.

    Upgraded Injector Optimization:

    Dynamic+ Stage 3/3+ Software for the Pure750 Turbocharger is optimized for use with upgraded OEM Audi 2.9TT/4.0TT Direct Fuel Injectors (p/n: 06M906036AQ). The OEM Audi 2.9TT/4.0TT Direct Fuel Injectors are a required hardware upgrade for Stage 3/3+ Dynamic+ Tuning for the Pure750 Turbocharger that allows you to maximize your power output safely.

    The 034Motorsport Stage 3/3+ E60-E70 file is recommended to have an ethanol content of E60-E70. This file is designated for use when seeking the highest power output possible. This ethanol content allows your Audi to safely generate maximum power from the Pure750 turbocharger by maximizing the octane level and knock-reduction efficiency of ethanol, without overloading the fuel system with extra fuel capacity that the current fuel system cannot sustain.

    The Stage 3/3+ E85 Pump file is recommended to have an ethanol content of E50-E85 and is designed to provide the most power possible with higher ethanol contents. This file is suited for those looking to daily drive their vehicle and run E85 from the pump safely without the hassles of mixing.

    Note: The OEM Audi 2.9TT/4.0TT Direct Fuel Injectors are to only be used with Pure750/TTE810 Turbocharger Calibrations and cannot be used on any other 034Motorsport Dynamic+ Tuning calibration.

    Why Are There New Revisions?

    We at 034Motorsport strive to provide the most up to date and optimized files available for your car and continually look for opportunities to improve on what we produce. As technology advances or a platform develops, we refine and Improve files as needed. In some cases, these are very minor adjustments, whereas, in others, these updates can bring a whole round of feature additions and performance changes. More info can be found below on how to identify a large change vs a minor/unnoticeable change based on the revision number.

    Revision Nomenclature Breakdown

    Revisions will be listed under 3 main categories, as shown in the numbering of the revision.

    Example: R7.1.5

    The first digit signifies a Major Revision/version change/count. In this example, 7 would be the most recent of major revisions. These numbers change when a major feature has been added or updated (such as Advanced Launch Control or higher power output files).

    The second digit signifies a minor revision/version change/count or changes to files that are not considered major but are noticeable in the overall performance and refinement of the car. In this example, the 1 in R7.1.5 would mean that a minor change was added over the base R7 file.

    The third digit signifies a sub-revision/version change/count or changes that are very minor/unnoticeable. These adjustments are generally box-code specific adjustments or bug fixes that change parameters of the tuning that most will never notice in their day to day driving but refines the overall file by solving minor bugs. In this example, the 5 in R7.1.5 would be the 5th minor sub-revision to this file on this box code.

    Note: Not every box code needs the same sub-revision changes. Often they are box code specific and not necessary for every box code. If there is no sub-revision number listed for your file on your portal, then there is no need for an update in that category of the patch.

    When running the TCU patch file, the output remains the same as with a TCU tune installed.

    034Motorsport's Density Line Control Arm Kits are designed to be performance replacements for all eight of the factory front upper and lower control arms, or respective upper and lower control arms. The result is tighter handling and more precise steering response than even brand new factory control arms can offer.

    The factory front control arms are an integral part of the suspension, but can start wearing out as early as 40,000 miles - especially on enthusiast-owned vehicles which are driven hard on the street or track. As the rubber bushings degrade and ball joints develop play, alignment is compromised and steering becomes less precise.     What power level would you suggest this bottom end for? And I'm assuming there's no reason that it wouldn't be compatible with the EA839 found in the C8 A6/7 correct?

    This kit would be suitable for levels beyond the current hybrid turbos - not to say it couldn't be utilized with the current output levels as well. It should work in the EA839 in the A6/A7 as well.

    A New ECU & TCU Tune Revision is Now Available for your B9 3.0T EA839 from 034Motorsport! Simply log into your 034Motorsport flashing portal, select the latest revision, and flash!



    A new revision of the 034Motorsport B9 3.0T ECU & AL552 TCU tune has been added to the server and is available to flash via your flashing portal! The 034Motorsport Calibration Team has been hard at work, further advancing the software and calibration strategies we have honed throughout the development process of our world-class EA839 tuning suite.

    OEM Software Update:
    Audi has made available software updates for select ECU Box Codes of the B9 Generation (2018 - 2020). These files are now available to select individuals. All users should select their ECU under “Flashing” while utilizing 034SPI or PC flashing client to see if there is an available OEM update. If you see an option labeled "OEM Update," we ask that you flash this OEM update. After flashing the OEM update, return to the ECU folder and proceed to flash your vehicle to the appropriate octane & specification that you would normally run.

    R3.1 ECU Revision Update for Stage 1/1+ & Stage 2/2+ Vehicles:
    For all Stage 1, 1+, 2, and 2+ customers, the R3.1 ECU Tune Update is available for flashing. This update should be flashed after the OEM software update, if that option is available to you.     Stage 2 & 3 TCU - Rolling KLi-MAX
    By flashing the "+ Rolling KLi-MAX" TCU file, you are enabling Rolling KLi-MAX! KLi-MAX shifting is the activation of 034Motorsport optimized AMAX gear shifts, something that is already used as a shift strategy during the use of launch control, allowing for the quickest and fastest shifts. KLi-MAX shifts minimize the torque reduction that takes place during a gear shift while increasing necessary clutch and line pressures to safely transfer more torque throughout the gear shift.
    With the addition of Rolling KLi-MAX, this shifting strategy can now be engaged at any time, not just when using launch control! This shift strategy is now added to additional transmission modes (Sport & Manual) and will activate at wide-open throttle over 5,500 RPMUsers will audibly notice the lack of "farts" while on this file at wide-open-throttle. This strategy reduces the potential for transmission slip and allows for the fastest shifts possible, and is best used when looking to maximize straight-line acceleration from a roll.

    NOTE: We do not recommend toggling Rolling KLi-MAX during significant prolonged wide-open throttle driving, like during an HDPE Track Session.

    Stage 2 & 3 TCU - No Auto Upshift
    By flashing the "+No Auto Upshift" file available in your flashing portal, your vehicle will not automatically upshift in manual mode. Your vehicle instead will hold at the engine redline until you shift your car. This feature is especially helpful when driving during HDPE or Autocross events where you want to ensure the car stays in the exact gear you want. This is a feature that is standard with the factory RS5, which we now offer to you with your S4, S5, or SQ5!

    NOTE: Stage 1 & 2 ECU Customers must be updated to the latest ECU variant (R3.1 or Later) to run this TCU file variant. We recommend all customers ensure they are flashed to the latest available version of their ECU tune visible on their flashing portal. If your current ECU variant matches the current available file, then you are up to date and ready to go!

    Stage 3 TCU Only - Second Gear Launch

    By flashing the "+2nd Gear Launch" file available to Stage 3 TCU customers in their flashing portal, your will be able to toggle between launching in 1st gear or 2nd gear while in the car. 034Motorsport engineers have implemented the option of 2nd Gear Launch for Stage 3 customers as a way to help manage wheelspin in lower traction surfaces. In times or locations where you experience excessive wheel spin while launching in 1st gear, you can select to launch in 2nd gear to better apply the significant torque of Stage 3.

    NOTE: We do not recommend using this file when grip conditions are high or optimal. In our testing, we have found that the fastest accelerating launch method when grip is ideal is to launch in 1st gear.

    Why Are There New Revisions?

    We at 034Motorsport strive to provide the most up to date and optimized files available for your car and continually look for opportunities to improve on what we produce. As technology advances or a platform develops, we refine and Improve files as needed. In some cases, these are very minor adjustments, whereas, in others, these updates can bring a whole round of feature additions and performance changes. More info can be found below on how to identify a large change vs a minor/unnoticeable change based on the revision number.

    Revision Nomenclature Breakdown

    Revisions will be listed under 3 main categories, as shown in the numbering of the revision.

    Example: R7.1.5

    The first digit signifies a Major Revision/version change/count. In this example, 7 would be the most recent of major revisions. These numbers change when a major feature has been added or updated (such as Advanced Launch Control or higher power output files).

    The second digit signifies a minor revision/version change/count or changes to files that are not considered major but are noticeable in the overall performance and refinement of the car. In this example, the 1 in R7.1.5 would mean that a minor change was added over the base R7 file.

    The third digit signifies a sub-revision/version change/count or changes that are very minor/unnoticeable. These adjustments are generally box-code specific adjustments or bug fixes that change parameters of the tuning that most will never notice in their day to day driving but refines the overall file by solving minor bugs. In this example, the 5 in R7.1.5 would be the 5th minor sub-revision to this file on this box code.

    Note: Not every box code needs the same sub-revision changes. Often they are box code specific and not necessary for every box code. If there is no sub-revision number listed for your file on your portal, then there is no need for an update in that category of the patch.
