    The Stage 1 TCU tune that comes included free with our ECU file remaps torque limits and recalibrates the torque safety systems to work with the added power of Stage 1 ECU tuning.

    Later stages of TCU tunes will provide more changes to the Transmissions shift behaviors, but for Stage 1 we were quite happy with the shift points and behaviors.

    One of our customers sent us his YouTube review of our Dynamic+ tuning he did on his B9 S5 Sportback. This video was great to watch, and 11.79s @ 116mph with a 3.57s to 60 is definitely cooking on the 93 file! Can't wait to see what it does when it's running our Stage 2 file optimized for hardware upgrades!

    The X-Clear Driveshaft Tunnel Brace is designed to increase clearance for aftermarket exhausts by replacing the shallow-fitting OEM tunnel brace. This allows for a larger diameter exhaust to be installed without causing excessive rattling or vibration, while also utilizing an aeroflap to maintain OE like aerodynamics.

    The X-Clear Driveshaft Tunnel Brace replaces the factory brace with a CNC Machined Billet 6061-T6 Aluminum brace designed to increase exhaust clearance by 8mm over factory.

    034Motorsport has developed this comprehensive performance intake solution for the turbocharged 3.0 TFSI engine found in the latest generation B9 Audi S4/S5. Subsequently, the P34 Cold Air Intake System offers discerning enthusiasts measurable increases in horsepower and torque, sporty induction and turbocharger sounds, and a functional airbox and inlet hose design.

    Throughout the development process, multiple designs were modeled, prototyped, and tested - all to ensure that the P34 Cold Air Intake System delivers measurable performance benefits and superb fitment. The result is a partially-enclosed airbox which uses the factory fresh air inlet duct and heat shield, while housing a massive 5" inlet conical air filter, and a matching CFD-optimized filter tube.

    Minimizing Unnecessary Filter Shrouding
    034Motorsport focuses on optimizing every aspect of the intake system across a broad range of variables and compromises. A critical component of a high-flowing performance intake is the ability for air to flow around and into the filter. If the air cannot flow freely around the filter, it will be restricted from getting into it. Many aftermarket kits fit too large of a filter in an enclosure that cannot accommodate its size, thus choking the filter and reducing its overall flow. This often happens when a product is engineered for one variable at the expense of others. 034Motorsport conducted extensive tests and refined its development of the intake design to allow for maximum airflow surrounding the air filter, allowing for optimal airflow to, and through, the filter. The final result is the right size filter in the right size filter housing, creating maximum airflow and performance with OEM level filtering; the ultimate goal of any intake system. Be cautious of any intake that brags only of air filter size, without taking into account the detrimental effects of shrouding the filter.

    Pressure Drop Improvements
    Pressure Drop is the difference in ambient air pressure and the air pressure measured at the throttle body across the engine's rpm range. The higher the pressure drop at any given rpm, the more restrictive the intake system is, reducing airflow.

    The beauty of many of our Billet Inserts is that there is no/extremely minimal NVH added. This is because the insert sits freely in the bushing until loaded, where it takes up the slop. These rear subframe inserts in particular do not introduce any perceivable additional NVH.

    Turbo inlet pipe and charge pipe for the RS5 B9? Come on guys, I doubt it`s that hard to make and people won`t buy them, when nobody makes them! It`s already 3 years since the car is on the market...I can`t believe parts area so scarce for this car when for other models everyone pumps up parts after 2 months.

    Performance Enhancements:

    Increased Launch Control Ferocity
    With this update, your car will launch with a significant increase in force, allowing you to get off the line as fast as possible.
    Improved Drag Racing Performance
    We have optimized and improved the shifting strategies during the launch control sequence along with increases in launch control torque, making AMAX shifts even faster!
    Faster Shift Speeds
    Shift speeds are now increased across the board in all drive modes, with Dynamic mode having the fastest shifts of all the drive modes.
    "Stage 1+" Optimizations Added to All Stage 1 Files
    All Stage 1 files will now have the ability to accommodate and compensate for added hardware, increasing performance! If you are running an upgraded Intake and Intercooler, you can expect gains of roughly 20-30hp over base Stage 1 figures! Simply flash to the updated Stage 1 file and these changes will be in effect!
    Crackles in Dynamic Mode
    Crackles can be toggled on or off via Drive Select. They will be on in Dynamic and off in Comfort. In Individual, crackles can be toggled on or off via Engine Sound.

    Free Revving in Neutral and Park

    Drivability Improvements:
    With any file created by 034Motorsport, we strive to make it perfect out of the box. That being said, when our customers provide feedback, we listen. In R2.0, we continued to improve and refine our files by taking your feedback and adjusting accordingly.

    Fan Control Adjustments
    A handful of users reported their fans running longer than expected, so we have made the necessary adjustments to the affected box codes to ensure this is no longer an issue.
    Cruise Driving Refinements
    Some users reported a light load oscillation issue that was present when cruising at highway speed. In this update, we have made adjustments and have resolved this.
    Cold Start Idle Improvements for Stage 1
    Some users reported idle speed fluctuations during cold starts. This has now been resolved.
    Secondary Air Injection Disabled on Stage 2 Files
    We have turned off the Secondary Air Injection (catalyst heating) as it is unnecessary with a high-flow or catless downpipe. NOTE: Your car will still start and heat up without issue in cold temperatures.

    The 034Motorsport 2-Piece Floating Brake Rotor Upgrade Kits for the B9 & B9.5 Audi S4/S5 are complete replacement brake rotor kits, designed to work flawlessly with the factory calipers found on the B9/B9.5 Audi S4/S5. While reducing weight, the rotor retains proper thermal mass in the rings to adequately capture heat, while utilizing 72 directionally curved vanes to forcefully flow cool air through the rotor to dissipate heat.

    The central hat portion of the 034Motorsport rotor is made of 6061-T6 aircraft specification aluminum.     I’m an rs5 owner and I’ve noticed the same thing. The 2.9tt just doesn’t get much support. Looks like most rs5 owners are keeping their car stock but it also seems like the 2.9tt platform isn’t really mod friendly as well. There was a user who did stage 3+ On the 2.9tt rs5 with upgraded turbos and only got into the high 10s. On the other hand 034, just released a stage 1 tune for the 3.0t with stock turbos pushing the same 10s.

    Best to wait for their stage 1 tune towards the end of the year that they’ve been working on. When that gets released, I’m sure there will be more supporting mods. No point for them to develop all these supporting mods with no tunes to utilize em.

    Looks like I’ll hold on to the RS5 for a year and pick up a C8 Z06 or lightly used McLaren lol. The RS5 has potential but with the lack of aftermarket support, this isn’t the car to have if you desire to customize it on many levels. So boring!

    Features:

    Optimized Shift Points
    In order to take advantage of the increased powerband from the turbocharger, Dynamic+ Tuning optimizes the shift points in Sport Mode to maximize acceleration while retaining smooth drivability.
    When purchasing the Stage 2 TCU Tune, you will be offered specific calibrations for either E85/Race Gas and for 91/93 Octane (Pump Gas) when flashing!     Kickdown Switch Disabled in Manual Mode

    Improved Shift Speeds
    To further enhance the acceleration of your Audi, the ZF8 shift times are dramatically decreased in all driving modes, which ultimately results in quicker acceleration.
    Shift pressures are also increased in Sport Mode to maximize performance. In Sport Mode, you will notice less lazy shifts, more firm shifts, which ultimately results in quicker acceleration.

    AMAX Shifting
    AMAX Shifting is a shifting strategy that stands for “Acceleration Maximum.” These gear shifts are the fastest and quickest possible for optimal acceleration. These are activated in shifting after launching your vehicle from a stop using launch control.
    AMAX shift points are now optimized for specific RPM setpoints for Pump Gas ECU tunes, and Race Gas/Ethanol ECU tunes. Select the specific TCU file to match your current octane when flashing your TCU!
    The S4/S5 has AMAX now activated in the 4>5 and 5>6 shifts where it was previously disabled from the factory.
    The SQ5 now has AMAX activated in all shifts from 1st through 6th where it was previously disabled from the factory.

    Improved Torque Management
    As with any automatic transmission vehicle, the ECU and TCU computers work synchronously to properly apply torque to the vehicle's drivetrain in a safe and reliable manner. Within both the ECU and TCU, there are factory safety tables that limit overall torque output based upon what the factory first tuned the car for. The ECU reports the output of torque from the engine to the TCU, and the TCU decides if this is suitable, or too much. If it is too much, the TCU will command the ECU to reduce torque output based upon its safety tables.
    034Motorsport takes a holistic approach with its Dynamic+ Tuning and aims to retain as many OEM safety protocols as possible. While it is possible to tune around the factory TCU torque limiters from the ECU side, this is done at the expense of torque safety features that are integral in keeping your transmission running safely. 034Motorsport’s calibrators tune the ECU to work with the TCU to provide accurate torque values and recalibrate the appropriate safety ranges for the TCU. Taking these extra steps to retain OEM safety systems on the ECU and TCU side is just one of the many reasons that Dynamic+ software provides substantial yet reliable performance increases.

    034Motorsport Stage 1 Transmission Performance Tuning Software for the AL552 is included in the Dynamic+ Tuning Bundle with our Stage 1 & Stage 2 ECU software.

    I have the 034 Stage 2 Tune with the ECU tune from IE. Is there any difference between the 034 TCU tune and the IE TCU tune? Wondering if the switch is worth it or not.
