On the B9s, the Xbrace is built directly into the subframe, unlike the B8s which was a secondary bolt-on piece. This means that there is not a cost-effective way to upgrade that. The Front and rear sway bar package is a huge upgrade for chassis stiffness. Going further than the standalone rear bar, the front and rear bar combination are so rigid that they make a measurable change to the chassis rigidity: https://store.034motorsport.com/034m...5-allroad.html

The front sway bar bushings squeak so loud that I had to go back to stock. Greasing it every two weeks its not normal, it was the only way stopping it squeaking. Its sad because the bar itself is much better than the stock one.

Great to see the tune finally coming to market. I did have a quick question though. Earlier in the thread you said "the features we're bringing will be unparalleled to any other offering on the market." Would you be able to elaborate on those features? I watched the the announcement yesterday and I didn't really hear anything. Thanks in advance!

You would be able to purchase the cable and flash directly over the tune from APR. We also do offer the stock file on our server which will be readily available for flashing.

You hit at APR dropping a tune and then maybe never updating it. While that's not wrong, it's kind of funny that you are dropping a tune a full year after everyone else, actively criticizing competitors and suggesting you are doing something different (you aren't so far).

I would also like to know because based on the video it just sounds like a baseline tune will be provided albeit well configured, optimized but nothing the other platforms aren't offering. I would have hoped the unparalleled features announced along the lines of flex fuel support, crackle maps, rolling brake boost etc.

So a couple questions in prep for flashing. I plan on getting both the ecu and tcu tune and when purchasing them do I also have to purchase your software suite in addition to the tune files or does it come with them?

Also, how should i go about installing them? Should I flash the ecu first, shut the car off, wait and then do the tcu? Or are we able to flash the ecu and when thats done go straight to flashing the tcu?

As we said in the live stream, the initial release features will not be unparalleled, however, we plan on bringing Advanced Launch Control as well as a myriad of features down the road we cannot tease just yet. In this initial release, users will be able to experience a true OEM plus refined tune that holistically upgrades the entire driving experience of your car both on the engine and transmission side. If we gave away all of the eggs in our basket right away, it would be giving our competitors a head start. 😉

Advanced Launch Control (Variable Load on Launch, Adjustable Launch RPM, Ignition Cut Launch Control, and one feature that I can't include) will be released following our initial release. These features are unlike anything that has been brought to a factory ECU before and delivers a refined experience unlike any other option available on the market.

I see, 034 are pulling an ole' APR and promising features down the road that they won't actually advertise.

It isn't like launch control strategies or additional ECU functionality (such as anti-lag) are a secret in the tuning world. All your competitors are aware of features they can implements on the cars - correct me if I'm wrong but I can only assume you aren't developing anything new that has never been created by a tuner before? It seems like you're just trying to sell a product by promising you'll be adding some "unparalleled" features down the road without actually telling us what those features are.

All in all, not a good start. You say that Nick was unable to answer said questions as he was on the road yet you have replied multiple times after users were first questioning you on these "unparalleled" features? Seems like 034 just selectively chose to ignore multiple comments regarding this until you were called out again on your live stream.

I truly do hope you bring some "unparalleled" features to the table, but I'm incredibly disappointed so far. We don't need another APR on our hands.

So you felt comfortable advertising something you weren't actually bringing to the table and you insulted a competitor as you went through with that advertising...you sound just like the competitor you insulted.

Yeah I feel that's what really happened, probably someone jumped the gun and got too excited with advertising. No big deal, it is what it is. At this point, I think the best thing for us to do is just wait and see what 034 brings to the tuning table following the release.

2020 S4 Premium Plus Black Optics S Sport Package

When you purchase our tuning, the Dynamic+ flashing program/suite comes with it. It will be emailed to you with your login credentials after you purchase.

When flashing, you can simply go from flashing the ECU to the TCU. No need to power cycle the car/drive in between! When you purchase the tuning, an install guide will be emailed to you walking you through the process step by step, and will also have an FAQ at the end that covers anything that you may potentially have questions on.
