    Last Friday we took the B9 SQ5 down to Willow Springs in Southern California for a track day. We were doing high heat/high load testing of our new 3.0T S4, S5, & SQ5 tuning, and what better way to do that than with our 4400lb SUV.

    This testing was done with all factory cooling systems to ensure that our OEM style ECU safety systems adequately and safely adjusted for high heat conditions, and ensured the car was running safely the entire time on track. This testing is crucial to ensure that our Dynamic+ software will not only perform, but keep your car performing reliably in any condition.

    This car is an absolute riot on track for being completely stock minus our upcoming ZTF-01 21x10" with 295/35/21 PS4S tires.

    @034Motorsport couple questions.

    For the rotors how much weight are they saving vs the stock rotors? Also what is the advantage of the j hooks vs regular veins?

    Lastly, are you going to have support for different fuel trims with your tune? I know you stated that the tune for the sq5 you were testing was for 91, but are you planning on having support for 93? Also what about water methanol?

    2020 S4 Premium Plus Black Optics S Sport Package
    The J-Slot design works in the same way as slotted rotors in venting gasses and to help clean the pad. In our testing, we have not noticed any difference in performance over slotted rotors. All final features including weight will be available upon the release of the rotors.

    91 & 93 octanes will be available as well as E85. We typically do not offer an OTS map for WMI, though it is something we can look into given there is enough demand.

    We will certainly be coming to market with 91 and 93 octane (US AKI) upon release. Our full E85 file is in final stages of testing currently but may come a tad after the initial launch. We are aiming to launch them all at the same time, but we will not delay the release of our pump gas files to wait for the ethanol files.

    Because e40 will be more powerful/faster than e85 on this platform. Having an e85 file is certainly more convenient than having to mix fuel though...

    Explain how. That makes no sense to me. Our stock pump is enough to feed e85 to our stock turbo. Just because epl could only tune e40 (but soon to release their e85)....doesn't mean e40 is the best fuel. I think it was because they still didn't have full access to all of the tuning tables. I mean it says it right in the name. 40% vs 85%. You'll typically see almost full gain from e85 with anything over 60%-65%.

    I think you'll be very pleased with the results! My personal B9 SQ5 absolutely hauls on our Stage 1 tune, and it's even more unreal on our S4!

    eta on release of those rotors? I've been waiting for a solid 2 piece option and these look like they'll be exactly what I'm looking for. Are you able to provide price estimates; e.g. comparable to the ecs 2 piece?

    That USDA Prime

    Yes, our End User Flashing Kit will be used for B9 remote flashing and logging, as it is for our other Dynamic+ tunes for other platforms like the B8 S4!

    What is going to be the difference between stage 1 and stage 2 going to be? Will there need to be any specific bolt ons required or will it be octane difference only? Most tuners have said there is no need for stage 2 since a downpipe doesn't add much if any power improvements when tuned.

    I honestly believe that’s such a load of bullshit because my 0-60 on the stock cat was 4.36, catless was 4.21, and 4.24 on the high flow cat and this was all before I got tuned.

    I instantly felt the power difference going catless. I switched to high flow due to the smell.

    Yes that is because they said if you go catless you will see a horsepower gain while on the stock tune. There is a decent gain stock once the cat is changed. Once you are tuned and go catless the gains are minimal.

    My catless DP gained me absolutely no gain on my 60ft, 0-60, 1/8, 1/4, or 1/4 trap speed. I am tuned and compared before and after install. Sounds way better though.

    The factory Audi strut brace is made of thin stamped aluminum, allowing for lateral deflection of the strut towers and chassis flex under hard cornering. This deflection can be observed as imprecise steering input and a vague, disconnected feeling from the front end.

    The 034Motorsport Strut Brace replaces the flimsy individual factory braces to improve the B9 A4's steering feel and handling performance.
