Are there any other chassis mods to help stiffen or increase feel, like the old B8 cross braces? Already have all the 034 goodies, so anything to help increase steering feel or chassis rigidity is welcome.

Was going to reach out as well on recommendations to stop wheel hop during a launch using launch control. Car is tuned by EPL, and if I use launch control to leave at 3400 rpm, I get a nasty wheel hop. I have to leave around 2200 and it’s a rocket. Got some 034 springs, hoping that will help out a bit. But if it doesn’t, I’ll be looking for the next thing. I want this thing to 60’ like a monster haha

On the B9s, the Xbrace is built directly into the subframe, unlike the B8s which was a secondary bolt-on piece. This means that there is not a cost-effective way to upgrade that. We do have our billet aluminum strut tower bar which helps a ton!: https://store.034motorsport.com/034m...-aluminum.html

The Front and rear sway bar package is a huge upgrade for chassis stiffness. Going further than the standalone rear bar, the front and rear bar combination are so rigid that they make a measurable change to the chassis rigidity: https://store.034motorsport.com/034m...5-allroad.html

Our transmission insert and mount upgrade should help front wheel hop, with our rear subframe inserts and differential inserts helping in the rear. We also plan to release upgraded motor mounts in the coming months!

Hoping for an early Summer release. Currently, we're torture testing and ensuring our files meet our high standards of refinement and reliability. We take these extra steps internally to ensure that the final product that customers receive is the best overall upgrade available for both performance and refinement!

What are the hardware requirements for stage 2? Intake, downpipe and FMIC? Also, are there fueling requirements for it or will 91 be sufficient?

The final required hardware for Stage 2 is still to be finalized. Its safe to assume that an upgraded intake, high flow catted downpipe, and intercooler will be on that list. Any fueling upgrade requirements will be finalized upon release!

These cars do need fueling upgrade for ethanol support, of which we have some products in the work to support

No reputable tuner is going to do that these days, unfortunately. You can thank the EPA.

They are sure taking their time with the tune. Seems they are more focused on old cars like the B8s. I see stuff about b8s on their IG all the time.

Unlike most tuners, we like to do our torture testing and reliability testing before releasing a file to the public. For the last year, we have been abusing our Stage 1 and Stage 2 offerings on our internal cars through tens of thousands of road miles, and harsh track miles. We spend this extra time to ensure that the final product is the most refined and reliable option available. We'd much rather take this extra time to do this internally than pass risk onto our customers.

Yeah I am an engineer and that is what our marketing/sales people tell our customers when we are not focusing or have not allocated enough resources to a project. Or just flat out stuck. Good to know thanks.

While that may be true with your company, that is not how we operate here. We've been publicly upfront about where our developments have been on our weekly Q&A live streams, and make internal torture testing a mandatory part of our R&D.

Do you have any teasers like a dyno graph without figures or some features you could possibly say your tune comes with?

When you say not long for release is that an EPL release date or a APR release date 😂

It's not my company its pretty common. So I noticed you released some products for the b9 years ago (I have a few), are you implying those were not adequately tested like your tune will be? I think people appreciate being "real" instead of those generic response bs responses that sound like:

Job Interviewer: What is your biggest flaw?

Interviewee: My biggest flaw is that I am a perfectionist. If I notice any detail isn't ideal, I will work really hard to come up with the best solution as quickly as possible. I tend to go above and beyond to make sure everything is perfect. And that is my greatest weakness. It's a curse, but unfortunately I'm stuck with it, and you will be stuck with it as well if you hire me. So think about it really hard. Do you really want somebody that is really really good?

Our initial hardware products that were released had 6+ months of durability testing in accelerated uses, along with data modeling from designs we have adopted on prior chassis for the last 8 years to verify the validity of the design.

I hear what you're saying, and if you feel this is disingenuous, there's not much I can do to change that viewpoint. All I can do is tell the truth: we will not release a product if it has not been adequately tested internally through our gauntlet of testing for our hardware and software products. For tuning, this means we need a myriad of testing environments across the country (Sea level in CA, humid air in the South/Florida, high altitude heat, high altitude cold, etc) in high performance and long haul reliability settings. This is not something we are willing to compromise on. These testing procedures yield invaluable data that make a lasting effect on our final product, and in my opinion, is what sets us apart from the other tuning options.

For example, I tow my 4500lb race car + trailer setup with my B9 SQ5 to track events over 500 miles away up steep grades. We verified there would not be any errors or issues under high load situations with my vehicle in these environments, and it helped us refine the TCU mapping further.

I have no vested interest in lying about our testing, as at the end of the day, the final product will show the refinements that are yielded from this validation testing. I'm excited to share more in the coming weeks as we wrap up more of the final rollout details.

I can't tease output, but I can say that it's safe to say that some groundbreaking features from our B8 S4 tuning will be making their way to the B9 S4 chassis and evolved further.

Expect to see more on release in the coming weeks.
