Location on knock sensors

08 Audi A4 b7 throwing codes $7e8 $7e9 which I going our is knock sensor but can’t find them anywhere no pics help

They are buried unfortunately, but should be colored plugs. On my 06 A3 they are green and brown. Located on the front of the block around the oil filter housing if that helps. They are a pain to get to. If your getting those codes for both sensors though. Dig in deeper to make sure it's not serious mechanical issues.

Ive dealt with knock sensors. There is only one on our engines and it is behind the lower part of the intake manifold. The plug is right below the intake manifold. To get to it you will have to pull off the intake manifold and coolant pump if you are looking to replace it. Usually knock sensors never go bad.
