With how the AWD system in the RS6 works it gets very unhappy when the rolling diameter of the front and rear tires are two different sizes. This reason is why you see people, almost exclusively, running symmetrical setups front and rear. Different offset if fine, but you typically want to keep the wheel size and tire size the same.

If you run the same offset wheels and use spacers it also makes rotating tire possible. I have seen cars with staggered, directional wheel setups meaning tires cannot really be rotated without remounting the tires.

After waiting nearly 6 months, I finally got my Michelin Pilot Sport AS4 in 275/35R-21 to put on my 2nd wheel set: BC Forged KL31 21"x10.5" in matte bronze with ET10 offset. Thanks again for Martin @Nemesis for hooking these up.

Very happy with the look with the stealth Navarra. The tire diameter is virtually the same as the stock 22's, but the smaller rim accentuates the gaps to the fender. I will probably have dealership lower this about 15mm to compensate.

Car is filthy, but I couldn't help snapping some pics as I was leaving the installer.

    WOW!!

I love the stealth wrap and the wheel color together.

Since you went with 21’s and the AS4’s, are these your winter wheels? Luckily I live somewhere that I can keep summers on year round.

Thanks! My intention was to run these year-round, but I may throw the 22's back on from time to time. I've had several sets of AS3 and AS3+ on other vehicles, and they were simply fantastic tires in regards to performance, wear, and reliability.

I went down a size on the rims for two reasons: Michelin doesn't make this tire in our stock 22 size, and I wanted a little more sidewall for our bad Ohio roads.

I’d say ET6-10 range. Depends on how flush you want and if you don’t mind some tire past fender. Which brand you plan to run?

Those look awesome. Always entertained the idea of going retro-classic with an all black look. What are the offsets?

Honestly, I don't know the specifics. I worked with David @ Wheels Boutique (who was extremely patient with me) to get these built.

The RZ10 made by BC forged seems to look very similar to the factory 21’s. But you can get in a 22” version. These wheels are flow formed so will likely be strong than the factory cast wheel. But not as strong as a true forged wheel.

Same here too. My RS4 has the similar looking stock wheels. I like the look and they were forged and lighter than the +1 wheel upgrades in packages and now my RS6 ( due to arrive in a few months) has the 22” standard only wheels. So many wonderful choices on here.

Seeing Martin’s blue RS6 on page 3 of this thread, with the Forgeline GTD1 5 Lug Open in silver just looking fantastic, I’d ideally arrange a set of those, but then which offset, tyre size, no spacers (Keeping as standard in set up), simple wheel nuts and what do I do for tpms ? Do the rs6 run a tpms sensor in the wheel or is it abs sensor/rotation sensing? Also I’m getting carbon brakes and DRC … Oh yeh, and I wonder if there are any Audi wheel centres to suit?

Can certainly help you out on getting set up with a set of Forgeline's if you wish and help answer all those questions.

35? Or did you mean 30?

35 series would make them nearly 5% larger than stock size and fairly certain no one has run that.

295/30R22 on 22x11” ET5 has been done and works.

Ha, I didn't want to keep bugging you over email Martin, but you responded anyways.

I was thinking 35. I chatted with Arturo last night. He's running PZ4 295/30 and they're pretty stretched. I am ordering SC6 in 295/30/22 and will see what those end up looking like mounted.

Thanks again for helping me get the HREs, so stoked to get them mounted!

No problems at all. Can email me anytime.

Nick (@NPuter) has the SC6 in 295/30R22 on his 22x11" and they have less stretch than the Pirelli.

    Thanks Martin

Not sure what’s got me more excited:

That my RS6 lands in Australia in December
    Or
That I’ve just had Martin arrange a set of Forgelines just like Nicks to suit … same style and colour … to go on white car with silver pack, white mirrors and grey calipers on ceramics ….

I had thought that the silver moustache over the exhausts didn’t quite work, and needed to be black even though I know I like the silver everywhere else, but seeing Nicks like that makes me think it really works ok. Thoughts?

Now I’ve just got sort the garage so I can walk past the RS6 as the current B8 RS4 fits “just right” and losing that extra 3” will certainly make a difference. The missus, bless her socks, took the opportunity to remind me that “size does matter”

Out of all the RS6 with after market wheels, your set up is my favourite and props to you in running the most aggressive set up with 22x11.5 wheels. Love the classic mesh face with bolts and steplips (Love those wide lips)!!! Your wheel setup is the nicest one by far I have seen in the forum!!! Keep up the great work!!!

I had the opportunity to debut one of Titan 7's new wheels for SEMA this year. It's their TC-5 forged monoblock wheel and I think they look amazing on the RS6. Here are all the specs but let me know what you guys think.

    Finish: Techna Bronze
    Size: 22×10.5
    PCD: 5×112
Offset: +10 (not quite the perfect offset but easily fixed with small spacers) - Offset with spacers: +7 (front) | +5 (rear)
    Spacers: H&R – TRAK+® Wheel Spacers: 3mm Black (front) / 5mm Black (rear)
    Tires: Michelin – Pilot Sport 4 S - 285/30ZR22

Thanks for posting- I’m trying to find out if the 21” Ff10 will clear Ceramic brakes. Tire tack is it for tech questions and they are having trouble figuring it out. If anyone knows I would appreciate it. This would be for my winter setup.
