Plopped on some BC Forged LE81 courtesy of Martin. This is the flat lip version vs the step lip that other forum members have ran. Very pleased with the outcome. Thanks again, Martin!

Front 22x11 ET5
Rear 22x11 ET4 (about a half inch more lip with slimmer hub pad)

I swapped over the OEM Hankooks, but may end up stepping up to 295 after more driving with the 285s.

I powder coated my stock carbon optics pkg 22's in Hyper Silver.

RS6_BOI - follow up question for you. You lowered you car and it looks great! How (CETE vs..? ) and how much approx (“) front and back? finally, did you run spacers?

They say 45 degrees but for me it's more precipitation based (i've already switched). That being said it varies depending on your situation. I don't use the car on a daily basis and it's not my only option if we were to get dumped on again. It can also depend on what shape the roads are in. If your winter setup has more sidewall you may want to leave them on longer through to deal with potholes and such.

The two ways I use:

1) Make a Flickr account and upload pics there. Then you can link the pics from there.
2) Use Tapatalk app, where you can upload pics from you mobile device.

Flickr option will maintain better image quality vs the app.

I was in the same boat as I liked the style of the 21’s over the 22’s. I ordered the black optics package meaning I was “forced” to get the 22’s. Having seen cars with 21’s in person, I am glad to have the 22’s. The 21’s just look like they have too much sidewall to me.

The RZ10 made by BC forged seems to look very similar to the factory 21’s. But you can get in a 22” version. These wheels are flow formed so will likely be strong than the factory cast wheel. But not as strong as a true forged wheel.

They look so good! I really wanted these but I couldn’t find anyone to trade with since it seems like everyone gets the 22s

The BC Forged wheels are fully forged, not flow formed. Great value for a forged wheel IMO.

1. Is $$$$ a factor? if yes Vossen's will cost you a bit less up front
2. Resale, I'm pretty sure people are more inclined to pay a higher premium on HRE vs Vossen

But if you were looking for just an opinion on just looks I would choose the vossen's out of those 2 choices.

Ive had extremely good luck with dealing with Vossen for the last 10 years. Ive even resold the old ones for a good amount. The flip side to that is I went and did a tour of HRE here locally and they make great stuff as well but they dont care to flex at all. Vossen has always been very customer service focused with me and will continue to get my business and recommendation for the future. Not sure if Diego is still checking these forums but he had an RS7 as well for a bit.

As far as color thats highly subjective. I think your local to me so if you want to see the Midnight Smoke on one in person let me know. I have also done their dark and light smokes on other wheels. If I was to do it again I would either go pure black if you want that look or down a notch to the dark smoke. My midnight looks great clean but with the brake dust it looks more brown sometimes in the light where the dark smoke turned more bronze.
