Wow, I thought 22's were huge...

Do the 23's actually keep the same overall diameter as stock, resulting in a half inch less sidewall than the stock wheel and tire setup?

So the factory OD is about 28.7" the new OD is roughly 29.2" BUT the stretch on the 11" wheel affects that slightly. It is, however a sidewall that is not for the faint of heart lol!

Apologies in advance... I'm copying your setup. I think you came up with all the right stuff when it comes to using the stock wheel sizing, offsets for a flush fit, lip style (step over flat)/size (bigger out back), flush face instead of register, etc.

They're perfect for this car. I especially like the mock staggered look while still being a square tire setup. You get the appearance while maintaining proper fit and handling. Rotating gets more complicated with complete dismounts, but hey... There's got to be a compromise somewhere and that's not a deal breaker for me.

I am doing a different color center and hardware though so if we see each other in Florida, we don't be complete Winn Dixiie twins :)

How low do you actually run your car? I assume this height was just for the pics? I'm -25mm w the CETE. Not slammed, but definitely a lowered appearance. The ride is not as a good as stock, but is still compliant enough in comfort mode.

None. I've driven in the parking lot on show mode.. the wheels aren't that aggressive.. no rubbing.

Anyone willing to do an Even Swap 21 RS6 Avant Wheels for my 21 RS7 Wheels??

I'd like to swap my wheels for a RS6 Avants Wheels preferably the Gloss black and Silver finish but the dark gray finish works to....pics of my car below....wheels are still in 9 out of 10 condition......

Only reason I said 9 out of 10 and not 10 out of 10 is because I have obviously put miles on the car

Even if it's only 100 miles I still wouldn't consider them "New"......Some people would say they are new but I'm not trying to be like them and play on words here. These look killer against the blue Martin, great choice! Can confirm stock wheels and tires are heavy af, only place I had to store mine was on my rooftop deck, ...which is up on the 4th floor of my place. I had to push each wheel/tire up three flights of stairs, one step at a time, it was such a pita!

There are a few 20s that people have fit but, as far as I know, they all required removing the dust shield from the front brakes. I haven't seen / heard of a set that has gotten around that...but all ears if there is one.

We test fitted the super deep on the front and there was plenty of clearance. I have the steel brakes. Not sure about the ceramics.

I am doing some test fitting when my car comes back from PPF and Ceramic coat. I will keep you posted on what I find out.

I do not want to run without dust shields, and I may have come up with an option. I just haven't had the time to dig into it as of yet.

Fwiw I tried to fit oem 20s from a c7 s6 and no go without removing the dust shields (steel brakes). Even then caliper clearance is basically non existent.

Honestly my 21” rims with winters were pretty good this past winter. I think they were meaty enough.

Meat is one consideration, good to know it passed one winter's test. The other consideration is the somewhat wider universe of tire/wheel choices. The dust shield issue does make me feel its going to be 21's for me this winter IF I EVER GET an RS6!
