Hi all, I did search the forum but I either missed it or am blind. I have a 2005 A4 Cabrio 1.8T AMB. Cranks but not starting. I was driving home one day and then it just stopped and has not worked since. Here is the status of the what I have done.

I bought the car and did the following over 1 year.

Timing belt
Water pump
Coil
Plugs
Valve cover gasket
crank position sensor.
Fuel injectors
Fuel filter

Drove it over a year with no issues other than a little leaky on oil but fantastic overall.

First thing that went was the flashing transmission lights. I drain and replaced CVT fluid. did nothing. I am still in search for a TCM for my CVT to fix that issue.
Car still drove fine every day.

A few months later it left it stuck. thought it was fuel related. I have changed the fuel pump and I read about the coolant sensors stopping from starting.
I just changed both coolant sensors the black and the green.
Still no spark at the plug, Battery is connected to a charger and there is fuel smell at the exhaust the fuel is working but there is no spark I'm not sure why anymore.

I have checked all the fuses in the interior fuse box. I have not checked the fuses where the ECU is. While it was sitting there was lots of storms and Now i'm sure my CCM is fried so there is another $300 I have to shell out in order to use the windows and convertible top again.

Here is what I have left.

-A bad crank sensor again...
-A bad ECU.

All suggestions welcome. I am very handy and can do almost all the work myself but clearly I have not been able to troubleshoot this one.
