The first step is easy, create the thread in the main B8 A4 Forum. But, a number of key points must be met in order for your thread to qualify for the B8 A4 Tech Archive.
Creating an FAQ / DIY Thread
- Be sure to enter a concise yet descriptive Subject Line (title) for your article. Including either "FAQ" or "DIY" in the title will help as well.
- If submitting a DIY how-to article, be sure to list any and all tools needed for the job.
- List all of the major steps or sections of your article, using as many photos as necessary.
- Please review other threads within said subforum to get a good idea of what's expected of an FAQ or DIY article.
Once posted, contact a Moderator of this forum section or an Admin via Private Message or email to discuss the possibility of your thread being added to this subforum. If accepted, the thread will be moved over. If not approved, you will be notified by the Moderator explaining why and how you can improve your chances of getting the thread moved in the future.
Creating a Projects / Build Thread
- Make sure you use a concise yet descriptive Subject Line (title) for your build thread.
- Be sure to include plenty of before and after information and photographs.
- List all of the major modifications, adding to your thread as your build progresses.
- Project/Build threads typically grow and progress over several months or even years. Review other threads within said subforum to get a good idea of what's expected.
