Whats next on the list? Not many people have mod their Allroads..

What brand of wrap did you use?
Thinking of doing Inozetek Chalk for mine... I wrapped all my trim in all PPF gloss to color match...

GG2 "super deep" CETE, lower fork arms, Matrix lip kit and 22" Vossen's (being made now) on my list for spring...

Could you post some pics of the front and side. I wanted to wrap the lower parts gloss black too but was worried how it would hold up. Been good in the snow so far?

    I went with inozetek.

So far besides visual changes I just have:
    Roc euro intake
    Rs6 wheel

    Next up for me is:
    Catted down pipe
Res delete on the mid pipes
    Stg 2 ecu/tcu tune

    Shortly after:
    Karbel rear wing
    Karbel rear diffuser
Custom exhaust,. Going to have quad pipes sticking out the rear. Thinking valvetronic mufflers but it'll depend how loud the car is with the downpipe. Don't want to ruin it as a daily.

Hopefully 034 does some suspension mods, would love some reasonably priced sways.

Looking forward to a little more pep from the engine. Will post some before and after sound clips too.

I look forward to seeing it!

Color match is perfect, actually the PPF parts look better than the painted. Here you go.

That's awesome! You even were able to retain the quattro lettering, very cool.

The build continues. Wagner ic, redstar catted DP and res deleted mid pipes.

One really cool thing was no CEL with the dp.

Actually installed it today. Also a few days in with with the jb4, it's feeling a lot more fun as a daily. Wouldn't say fast, but it's more engaging.

Been about 2 weeks since the I put in most of the performance mods.

    Current mods
    - roc euro intake
    - Wagner IC
    - redstar 400 cell dp
    - redstar res delete mids
    - jb4 map 3

The car drives different, it is Soo much more fun now. Still eventually needs a real tune. Exhaust is still very quiet, so still some work needed there.

This weekend I'm putting in a s6 exhaust. And eventually when the cete module comes I'll lower her.

She really is turning into a lot of fun to drive. I really hope long term there are some transmission options for the car, I'd love to do a stage 3 build.

Are you doing anything on the rear for exhaust cut outs?

S6 exhaust installed. The tips are a bit bigger than the diffuser. Trying to figure out how easy it is to remove them, to possibly replace them.

Two cete modules scheduled to go in. Suspension controller, and active valve control.

Couple more weeks and the build will be complete for a while.

Cete is in, lowered her 29mm. Next up is the exhaust valve controller and swapping the tips to something that fits better.

Is the S6 exhaust just a straight bolt on? Also what diffuser are you running?

It is a bolt on, but the tips are too wide for the karbel diffuser I went with. So I ended up needing to weld new tips. There is also a cete valve module you can install to have the valves work.

Added some before and after of the different tips.

Looks really good man, but how id you manage to even find an S6 exhaust for sale? I've looked nearly everywhere. Trying to avoid paying dealership prices.

Thanks. Pure luck that I found one local on eBay. I didn't save as much as I'd hoped on the whole system. So an aftermarket system might have been in the same ballpark.

    Res delete midpipes - 1200
    S6 exhaust - 800
Valve controller - 500 - wanted more control since there was some drone between 2-3rpm with valves open
    Replacement tips -200

I do also have a sport cat dp.

So about 2700 plus labor. If I were to do it again, I might've just gone with the armytrix system. Looks great, the note could be better, but that's more the engine.

Overall it's still pretty quiet on the inside, but I don't mind.

Awesome project, mabs! I'm looking into exhaust options for my '23 A6 Allroad now. Was the S6 CETE module just plug & play to enable OEM control of the exhaust valves on the A6 (where there was none before), or did you need to so anything in Vagcom as well?

You mentioned Armytrix which I'm considering, I guess the OEM valve control enabled by the CETE module would also work on aftermarket exhaust valves..?

Thanks! The s6 exhaust has its factory valve controller. The cete module is plugged into it, and gets connected to the can bus near the battery. There are a couple of options, I choose double pressing the esc button as the command to open valves.

Note the s6 tips are very wide, they don't fit the karbel valence. I had to cut them off and replace them.

Sorry not sure how the armytrix setup is. I don't know if it has a wired valve controller the cete can connect too. I believe it's only a Bluetooth controller.

Also definitely get the programmable cete module. Being able to program the rpms the valves open is something I regret not having.

Thanks! Ended up ordering a supersprint cat back without valves and just the turndown tips.

Have you done sway bars yet? I’ve got an ABT set for the RS6, I think they just need the RS6 bushings and brackets to fit…

I was thinking of putting the upgraded stock sways...but if you don't really notice a difference then I'm not sure its worth it. :/

This car has been awesome, but with needing more space it's time to let it go. Trading it in next week. If a great deal hadn't popped up I would have looked to sell it to an enthusiast, but it doesn't look like time will permit. Hopefully this thread still helps other owners.

Going to be getting a sq7. Not as sleek, but drives small and should be a blast.

    For anyone interested.

I drove the sq7 about 1700 miles this weekend. Thoughts, it's very good at what it does. Great power, handles well, very comfortable maybe even more so than the allroad. You don't feel the size, but you do feel the weight. The allroad felt more nimble in a way. Also I could really floor the allroad and rip through a few gears, the sq7 is too fast for that, I pull off almost as soon as I push it. The only thing I fault it with is the gas mileage. The allroad is more special, but the sq7 does family duty better and that's my prio right now.
