Tuesday 2/9/2021: the leg work is done, time to focus on the details and get everything dialed in (coding, alignment, exhaust, aesthetic upgrades). Last photo until we’re completely finished

I have had manual S4 swap on my mind for a while now. That’s the reason I decided to buy my wagon. Watching you guys put it together this fast is amazing.

As a new owner of a B8 Avant. Where did you source the grill and led tails?

Christian at Sittin Pretty Autowerks is the mastermind in making this happen so quickly, I’ve never met a dude with such in depth knowledge on these cars, it’s insane. I’ve had the vision, but he is the one that deserves the credit for making it a reality.

I sourced the b8.5 LED tails along with the necessary harnesses from europrice. Complete game changer for the backend.

Thursday 2/11/2021: alright, one more...driveshaft, steering rack sway bar, o2 sensors, brakes, and power steering lines all installed.

Wednesday 2/17/2021: down to final details! original powder coater fucked up, so having the SC, calipers, and wheels all redone which has set us back a bit...but car is running/driving without any mechanical codes! While the powder coating bits get taken care of, the remainder of wiring and coding will be done by christian, along with finishing the ceramic coating on the wrap. RSNAV just came in from China and will be installed this weekend. Ordered a new hitch so that only the hitch itself will show (wish I didn't have to run a hitch, but this wagon gets proper use carrying my mountain bikes on the back and roof box up top). Custom exhaust and alignment will be the last items and everything should be 100% by next week

I checked that one out but ended up getting an eco stealth hitch...VERY pleased with the final look, I had to dremel the carbon diffuser but it looks factory now and the only thing visible is the hitch receiver

Final week! Test drove last week and the stock clutch is shot...waiting for the ringer racing stage III clutch to arrive and have installed. All coding is pretty much taken care of and final pieces are being buttoned up. Custom exhaust will go on next week...3.5" to 4" quad tips?

Thanks Chad! Just waiting on the stage III clutch to arrive then exhaust install then I’ll be done (for now ). Ended up doing the fuel pump upgrade so I can squeeze some more power running e40 blend

was supposed to yesterday...after install of the ringer racing clutch, it looks like they may have sent the wrong pressure plate or disc, it’s not allowing it to engage at all like there’s clutch pressure and you can put it in gear but then when you release the clutch there’s no bite. so trying to figure that out now
