    Wiring up N75 - 2001 B5 A4 1.8T

    Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
    Car arrived with no N75.
    No connector found in the area. Some wires dangling around.
    Don't have a 'spare' car to look at right now.

    - were is the wire for the N75 coming from?
    - what harness section
    - what other connectors (for example MAF, etc) are coming off the same harness loom?
    - what are the wire colors for the N75
    - pin out for the N75 connector?
    01 Allroad Tiptronic, TCU tune, mild stg 3 (350 HP) tune (stock injectors) KraftwerkTurbo TM1. Lower, Wider. Custom tip vent pod with Podi
    02 Allroad 6 spd, Kraftwerk Turbo TM6, 750cc, 3" MAF, piggy, FMIC, CM stg 5 (hate). 30 psi at 3600 rpm. Needs stronger rods (coming).

    Thanks. Not sure where previous owner 'cut', but should be able to narrow down the search if I know what loom the N75 wires merges to.
    In the meantime, will go and find a connector.

    If you want a detailed diagram I ordered a bentley manual a couple of days ago. If there's a page with info on the N75 wiring then I'll leave a post. Other than that there should be info on google.

    Best would be a photo where the N75 wires come from; what leg of the harness loom they go into. I need to then get to that location and 'dig out' any remnants of the n75 hires and make a new wire with connector.

    It runs in the same loom as your sai, maf and purge just follow those back.

    Found 2 wires coming out of the (maf, evap) loom. Now need to put connector on.
    Also: IIRC, one of the wires carries +5V supply voltage to the solenoid (shared with other solenoids found under the intake manifold, I think N249 and ???, maybe evap N80?). Checking voltage on the wires I found, none has +5V against ground (the ones under the intake do). Broken wire?

    I may need to rewire. Can I just tap into the "shared" (can someone post the wiring diagram) connectors for the +5V. For ECU signal, what pin number is the N75 signal (ditto wiring diagram)?

    What voltage and resistance (against ground?) should I measure with ignition on and off, or car running. Or VAGcom output test for N75 (not much time to measure)?

    These links WOULD be great and help others (including me right now), but the links you have are not working. This is always a problem among many forums I use; people post detailed answers with external links that drop off after a period of time. I would LOVE to see the answers for the OP's question.

    (2000 a4 1.8t ATW car) I am also dealing with wiring issues that someone else created, they cut the harness by the firewall before the airbox. I have 3 green/yellow stripe wires that i need to know where the pinouts are back at the ecm for these 3 sensors, N75, maf and evap?
